I did not have the time to read this whole thread so this may have been mentioned. Farhan Lalji totally screwed up his post game questions to Beagle, Roussel, and i think the third was stecher. Farhan totally belittles the bottom six players by saying something like "i doubt you three ever thought you would be sitting here". It looked like Beagle wanted to beat the ever living crap out of Farhan for such a condescending comment like bottom six players mean nothing to an NHL team. It was a disgusting question by lalji but an awesome reaction by Beagle.

Posters said that about the Blues too. Gaudette played much better than Big Mac. Who would you take out?? No thanks.

Just watched the game again. Excellent goal by JT Miller by being hard on the puck. Virtanen has a lot of room when playing with JT Miller and Petey because all five blues players and their goalies are too worried about Miller and Petey. Made it easier for Jake to get that goal when the goalie was cheating over toward where JT was skating. Refs gave the Canucks nothing. They did their jobs and let the game play out. Only a blues fan would say we got lucky or were gifted anything by the refs imo.

No he wasn't lol. A cap dump is getting rid of a player that is getting paid too much and is underperforming. Typically you must add a sweetener to get rid of a cap dump. JT Miller is a player many teams in the NHL would have traded for but the Canucks are the ones that ponied up. You don't understand the term "cap dump" if you actually believe JT Miller was a cap dump lol. ie. David Clarkson, Patrick Marleau, etc. EDIT: I see that pretty much everyone here understands what a cap dump is...pretty much....

Not really sure how you say Stecher does not play good enough but replace him with Rafferty when Rafferty has barely ever played an NHL game. Weird reasoning as no one has clearly ever seen Rafferty step anything up. Stecher has been a solid #6 guy....it is just too bad he was not bigger but if he was he would be making a lot more money.
