If you could trade him for Luke Hughes, would you? Petterson & Myers for L. Hughes & Pieces (Tomas Tatar / Andreas Johnsson), New Jersey gets way more dangerous upfront, gets solid defence from Myers, and Vancouver gets their set of brothers to build around. NJD would also be able to move Timo Meier as they would have a definitive upgrade in EP40; It's hard to see how it doesn't make NJD team better.

*shrug* Should give him a chance in Abby; There is no reason to walk away from these kids; Hopefully his dream comes true still. A mistake is still just a mistake, especially when you're young.

He's a perfect fit perhaps in Pittsburgh but I'm not sure how you can ever improve in the cap era by trading away players that play above their cap hit. You'll always be able to trade J.T. Miller for Jonathan Huberdeau. He's a complete player I don't know what more you could ask for.
