You do understand over half the arena isn't actually sold.
I believe Sections 104-108 and 119-116 were kept to be provided to the NHL Draft Prospects, Families, Sponsors, and Others.
You then have the Pre-Sales:
Tuesday, May 14th - Clubs and Suite Holders
Thursday, May 16th - Full Season Ticket Holders
Tuesday, May 21st - Half Season Ticket Holders and Ice Pack Holders.
As a full season ticket holder, there were very few Lower Bowl tickets at all for sale last Thursday an the Majority of the Upper Bowl sold to the Season Ticket Holders. Anything really left went on Tuesday to the Half Season Ticket Holders and Ice Pack Holders.
You really shouldn't be very shocked there wasn't much left for the regular fan. Everyone ahead of you in the pecking order puts out a lot of money every year and should have the first chance at the tickets.
I do agree though, those who are now trying to re-sell the tickets at a huge mark-up are most likely scalpers. I wish the Canucks would take a stance on things like this. They can clearly track who bought which seats as Season Ticket Holders had to use a one time access code to pre-buy. It would be great if they would look at taking the tickets back from those people who don't intend to go and are just trying to make a quick buck.
