    This. And - the other bench coaches are next to useless - too. When a goalie has lsot his groove...you put in the back-up to share the pain...or help the line-up infront of him to switch gears. I SAW how torts played kesler last game, This is on bench-coaching...a lot.

    The whole team played exactly like Higgins.... in the 3rd period of the last Calgary game - like penalty magnets! This IS on how Tortorella has been deploying his players in his system. Atrocious bench-coaching is causing a lack of respect for this coaching staff. Their core-busting & body-breaking decisions have had a massacering-effect on the continuity & confidence by the line-up ...leading to this epic fail. there is no more will to play for this man...& that is clear.

    I do not want this guy or his assistants...to retain their jobs after this season. Flush the whole lot.... bring in a viable replacement coach to wait in the wings...& retain only Gulutzan for his knowledge of the Western Conference teams that they are battling for a play-off spot. Tortorella has no more connectivity with this group.... & especially NOT the core. It is as if the Keenan core-busting fiasco of the '90's is repeating itself all over again.

    And BTW - Luongo's past tweets were fine. He brought levity to a situation ....and was supporting his former protege. You call a time-out or do a goalie-pull.... to re-set the team, spare an uglystat-hit to the starter...and to let the back-up goalie share the pain. Torts...is little better than AV in his decision-making on this point too. Tsk Tsk....what an epic fail across the board!

    I hope MG orchestrated the equivalent of a pre-nup.... between the team & Torts.

    I find your attitude of thinking your better then everyone else because your an eternal Cheerleader to be far more annoying then objective fans venting...

    judging by the up votes, I don't think im alone.

    people have different ways of being fans, and responding to crap. please stop crying and criticizing anyone who doesn't share your attitude.

    You people calling for a "Fire Gillis" chant? No matter how you feel, try to bring POSITIVE energy into the building...you know, support for the boys rather than attacking in general. God, what a bunch of attention seekers who would forego supporting the club just to get their "message" in. Sure, maybe that is your message, but there's a time and place. You slam MG for not doing what's right for the team but I don't see how fueling the Flames with a chant of discord is any better. They'll have enough people in their corner...we don't need to help in that by cheering AGAINST someone associated with the team. That'll surely do wonders.

    Write emails, send letters but when you're at the game throw your support behind the team and try to do your part. Rather than just being heard.

    MG did not cripple this team...he is being dictated to by the owners, IMO.

    Tortorella is NOT the coach for this team and I blame him and his "style" for the poor play, and frustration of most players on this team!

    This is my opinion and I'm sticking to it!!
