Miller isn't an average NHL player therefore his career will not be only 5 years. There was also no talk about him retiring because of that hit.
You/ve completely missed the point. Yeah Miller's good, and he was playing well until Lucic took him out and he lost half a season. Lucic took his chance to take out Buffalo's star. It seriously diminished Buffalo's playoff chances. Half a season is a significant amount of time in an pro career And you seem to have avoided the issue of John Scott, Buffalo gave Lucic the change to "man up' as Julien likes to put it, and go with Scott, but somehow the honest Bruin just couldn't do it. Well at least you stopped with the insults.

Miller tried coming back that season but he struggled with post concussion symptoms. That's half a season when the average NHL career is around five years. That's a fact bud, not drama. Defend cheap shots all you want, I'll keep calling them out. I also enjoyed watching Buffalo put John Scott on the ice the next time Buffalo played Boston and Lucic refused to answer Scott's invitation. So much for the Boston 'honest' players BS. There's a little Boston drama for you to keep wherever you want.

How about Krejci or Lucic to start? Neither of them dive, and neither of them play dirty. After that though... it's pretty slim pickins.
Lucic doesn't play dirty? he almost ended Miller's career with a dirty hit.

So Boston has sent another player off the ice on a stretcher after a dirty play. Colour me surprised. Orpik's hit on Erikson was clean but hard. What Thorton did was absolute malicious and deliberate assault. Stay classy Boston: Raymond, Miller, Pacciorety, and now Orpik. This team is an embarassment to pro hockey.

He's learning a profession. He's got the natural tools, time will tell if he can learn to produce every day against other professionals. I still think it's early, Even Lafleur took a year or two.

Vigneault needs to put more faith in his younger players, it's that simple. It's hard to watch Gillis put big resources into developing young players and then Vigneault giving them limited such roles.

Is this a joke? And I suppose Burrows two-goal shut down performance tonigh was especially bad? Every night he brings it against the opposition's top line.
