  1. I can't imagine what it will look like in a few days. I hope my house won't flood cause it look like heavy rain for the weekend.

  7. YVR.ca is backup. Almost all flights departing YVR is cancelled. Feel bad for all the people getting stranded at the airport.

  10. It took me an hour just to shovel the driveway and the backyard. Haven't even shovel the front yet.

  15. Temperature is going to rise near the water tomorrow. So snow will change to rain tomorrow afternoon for lower elevation.

  18. The good news is after this snowstorm we'll be heading into milder temperature for the weekend which mean flooding and rain.

A pacific frontal system will approach the British Columbia coast tonight bringing snow to the area. Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are expected tonight and Wednesday. The snow will taper to flurries Wednesday night. Strong winds will also develop as the system approaches and visibility will be locally reduced in blowing snow. Arctic air will continue to push through the coastal valleys and inlets producing very strong northeasterly winds giving wind chill values below minus 20 for the inland sections of the north and central coast today.
