  1. It is the best time to get rid of sutter's contract! He has no value if we try to trade him after season. Who wants a 20 Points+ 3rd C that miss half of the season with 4.3 mil Cap?
  2. Sutter has one contract year left. If he remains healthy, definitely worth a 3rd at TDL.
  3. Anyone can be moved. If a GM wants to move you, you move on.......
  4. To: COL Brandon Sutter To: Van 3rd draft pick Why Van do this: dump Sutter's salary. Have Gaudette, Adam pushing for 3rd C Why Col do this: need 3rd C after Kadri out rest of the year...
  5. As I said, Chi should sell high on Kane.... dump salary, get draft picks and prospects. With the current aging core, they will stuck just like Kings or Ducks in the next 2 years.
  6. if GMs wants to make deal done. I am sure they can find out a way.
  7. Kane is at the end-ish of his career. you are comparing orange and apple.
  8. To: Chi LE + Juolevi + 2020 2nd + 2021 first + Goldobin (or some other grade B prospects) To: Van Patrick Kane (retain this year's half salary) Why Van do this: Kane is a playoff monster. And producing like 100 points a season with 3 more seasons left in his contract. He will instantly strength our top line and make us contender in the next 3 years. Why Chi do this: Chi is rebuilding. They will go nowhere with current aging roster. sell high, dump salary, collect prospects and draft picks is the way to go. The roster of next 3 years: (It is almost the best top 9 of the league). Kane Petterson Miller Boeser Horvat Pearson Virtanen Gaudette Roussel(Leivo) MacEwen Beagle Filler
  9. Maybe the last spot or the last two spots can be changed in the last second.
  10. It seems very likely we will lose Demko to Seattle if we sign Marky long term...
  11. let's pull Marleau as an example, if we need dump LE's contract, we have to give away 1st. LE +2022 1st =Ottawa + 2022 7th. Lockwood + 2020 2nd= Ottawa Duclair sign Dunclair 4milx5 year.
  12. What does his market value look like? or can we sign him for one year only, i.e. $5 mil. In this case he won't be picked by seattle. then we can sign him again long term in summer of 2021?
  13. Elias Pettersson J.T. Miller Brock Boeser Bo Horvat Jake Virtanen Adam Gaudette I know each team can only protect 5 forwards....
  14. After 15 games, I have mentally elimated the following western teams from playoff 1 Edmonton 4 Anaheim 9 Arizona 11 Dallas 12 Chicago 13 Los Angeles 14 Minnesota They are the west conference rank as of Nov 4th, 2019
  15. Brock Boeser rejected $42 million contract offer from Canucks: report | Sep 13 2019, 12:32 pm Vancouver Canucks / Twitter On-ice sessions at Vancouver Canucks training camp began in Victoria this morning without one of the team’s best players. Brock Boeser, still without a contract, is keeping in shape with his old college team in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and the pressure is ramping up for the Canucks to sign the 22-year-old star. So far both sides are saying all the right things. Canucks GM Jim Benning didn’t get into specifics when quizzed about negotiations on Thursday, saying simply that he was going to continue to talk to Boeser’s agent. But one nugget of information appears to have leaked from contract talks. Boeser turned down a six-year contract worth $42 million earlier this summer, according to a new report from TSN 1040’s Matt Sekeres. The rejected contract offer would carry a $7 million cap hit, which is close to the maximum the Canucks are able to offer Boeser given their current cap crunch. This could be the first sign that a long term deal may not be in the cards for Boeser. The longer the deal, the higher the cap hit is expected to be, given the team would be buying unrestricted free agent years beyond a five-year term. Of course, this could all change depending on who blinks first. While the Canucks technically have leverage — Boeser doesn’t have many options as a restricted free agent — Benning can ill-afford a slow start to the season that’s otherwise full of optimism. The Canucks’ first preseason game is on Monday, with the puck drops on the regular season October 2.

  17. Chicago is looking into the playoff... Stan Bowman did his best to improve the Chicago Blackhawks this offseason. Now, it is up to the players to go out and compete. Bowman brought in players like Andrew Shaw and Ryan Carpenter, he signed Robin Lehner to improve the goalie tandem, and he traded for Calvin de Haan and Olli Maatta to drastically change the defense. Bowman made a lot of moves this offseason, so he did his part to improve the Blackhawks. Bringing in depth players, defensive defensemen that can play in the top-4, and adding a Vezina Trophy caliber goaltender is one heck of an offseason. Even so, something else needs to happen for the Blackhawks to succeed. They need to learn how to play together again. To start the 2018-19 season, the St. Louis Blues were one of the most improved teams and one that could compete for a cup. By January, they were dead last in the NHL. We all know what happened in the months after January, but in the first half of last season, the Blues were a disappointment. The Blackhawks can not afford to have a soft start to their 2019-20 season.
  18. would you take Lucic with 2 first rounders as sweetner?
