Doug Lidster --> Stanley Cup lol Cam Neeley errrr Jovanovski - Coyotes, career high 51 points w/ the Yotes. Cooke - traded to Washington ends up helping them to the playoffs Ovechkin. Traded to the Pens to play with a bona fide Stanley Cup contender and Sidney Crosby. ..... anyway, try not to take a joke so freaking seriously.

Cook was a character player and most of the weeners on here and the dumb wad media ripped him to shreds. It's funny how there's a history of players' performances seeming to vastly improve and be invigorated after leaving Vancouver. ..wait..that's not funny at all

I love the Canucks but I hate the market we're in - it's shameful, and a big part of the blame goes to the pathetic ill informed radio stations. Sadly most of the good hockey analysts on air are in larger markets and we're left with the whiners who have never played a game of hockey in their lives. -

Probably did see it but because I have no problem with anyones opinion if they feel it's valid I barely notice the name attached- so I may have see it and just gone 'hmmm'. The only ones that stand out are the nasty ones. They I shall have to slay until their lifeless body are flung like poo across the forum

Yep - I feel Hodgson could even be called up this year if necessary and I won't be surprised if he makes the club next year...our young forwards of the future are looking excellent

Gillis had said he would be in talks with AV over quite a period of time - and would be discussing 'philosophy' and moving forward, that tells me he may either give AV an ultimatum: change the system or change your place of employment..it may not even go that far and it's already been decided he going and this is all just public relations.

Between the lines: It sounds like he's re-signing. The Demitra meeting is pretty telling and then coincidentally Naslund gives an impromptu interview pretty much echoing what Gillis said about an offensive system..hmmm..I could be wrong tho
