    Oof, my team is trashhhhh... Whoever took my 1st and Alex Nylander can I have them back for Lindholm ?

    not really.  alot of players are below expcetions, Toews hardly missed, injuries, Goalies didnt worked out. Team could be much higher in Standings. just saying.

    Timur Faizutdinov dies 3 days after being hit by puck

Timur Faizutdinov died on Tuesday in a hospital in Yaroslavl. 
This was announced by his club Dynamo St. Petersburg. Despite the efforts of the doctors, the 19-year-old's life could not be saved. 
The 19-year-old was the captain of the Russian MHL club. 
The young defender got a puck on the head during a playoff game on the weekend and suffered a fracture of the temporal bone, 
a cerebral haemorrhage and damage to his carotid artery.
Faizutdinov was given artificial respiration, both his heart and lungs had stopped working on their own. 
The player had passed out while still on the ice.
According to various media reports, the doctors had meanwhile hoped that an operation could save his life. 
However, this did not have to be carried out in the hospital where Faizutdinov was located. 
In addition, it was feared that he would not survive the transport to a suitable medical facility.

Dinamo St. Petersburg announced that before the next games in MHL and the KHL professional league, 
there will be minutes of silence to commemorate Faizutdinov.

    Changing shots on goal to 0.25 didn't seem to change the balance of players, but did increase everyone's point totals by a wide margin. Seems to be better at a lower value.

     

    Forwards draw the most penalties. I've lowered the value to 0.5.

     

    As a means of balancing values between F and D, and using fewer decimal places, blocks were increased from 0.75 to 1.

     

    With those changes, there are more D higher up in the skater rankings. All skaters have increased by roughly 10 points though. Over a full season, we could see each player earn 20-30 points more than with the current system.

     

     

    Thoughts on this? Any other changes you'd like to see applied? I've also added a blanket F position in the test league for easier filtering.

     

    Another change we should probably make is changing Goalie Assists to Goalie Points -- just so the occasional goal is rewarded.
