Yeah, he's Stankoven's shooter. Solid player, going to be a good NHLer.
Yep, I love watching them together. Now just need to add Bedard for the Memorial Cup win!

Key hit by Bankier.
I've been impressed by Banks this tournament, playing more of a 3rd line grinder roll and accepting it, where in Kamloops he's only behind Stankoven as an offensive star.

How is their goalie not their player of the game?!
Definitly should have been, he stood on his head tonight and was the only reason it went to OT.

I'm traveling to Vancouver today for work, wondering if anyone can suggest a good downtown sports pub to watch the game? Good food/atmosphere.
Was thinking Sharks Club, but I am sure the locals know of some different places!

Might as well call it 1 year at 5.5m, with those bonus requirements.

I'm in Vancouver for work on Tuesday, was thinking of going to the game that night for something to do... Not sure I really wanna spend the money after the effort the last 2 games.

You’re right though it’s a bad look for young college guys looking to sign. Why would they pick us to follow in the footsteps of Rathbone.
I'm really curious why fans think Rathbone being down in the AHL developing is such a terrible thing?
He wasn't ready, and it's not like this is his 4th year, it's his 2nd. If he truly expected and all these guys coming the the NCAA expect to just be gifted a spot on a team then I don't want them. They gotta earn it, and be ready for it. The NHL isn't a development league, and we've hurt a lot of young players by treating it like one.

What did Bear do that has him paired with Stillman? What did Burroughs not do that prevents him from playing?
I'm starting to get the feeling that the coaches have been told to play Stillman... I just don't see why else he's in the line-up.

I just want to know If Kuzmenko tells the Canucks he's going to ufa, will everyone be ok if we end up trading him at the deadline?
If Kuz won't discuss an extension or sign an extension before the deadline, then we should absolutely trade him.
If we are trading Bo, there's no reason to keep Kuz as we are going into a mini, possibly major re-build.

What might should be is not what it is though.
As a dinosaur, I miss the tie; but that doesn't work for Vegas et al, so we have this hogwashed Marchand of a point awarded to the loser.
And it messes up the old math and the historical comparables.
I'm getting dizzy. DROP THE PUCK DROOGS - LET'S DO THIS!!
Oh I agree, I hate the current format but I know the shootout is going nowhere.

I get it. But ppl who use the term usually have a grudge about it. They either want to go back to ties or have shootout wins get 2 points. Which is dumb. Splitting the difference is perfect.
Honestly, the way the current system is, is pretty stupid. Having different games worth a different amount of points doesn't make sense. Every game should be worth the same amount. So with the "loser point", or the get to OT point if you prefer to call it that, every game should be a total of 3 points. 3 for an Reg/OT Win, 2 for a SO win and 1 for the SO loser. No points if you lose in OT.
At least, that is my opinion.

Why do ppl call it the "loser point"? Do you want to go back to tie games or do you want shootout wins to count as a regulation win ?
Because back in the day, you didn't get a point for making it to OT. You only got a point if the game ended in a tie, if the game didn't then one team got 2 points while the other team got 0. Thus, the extra point being known as the loser point.

Would like to see the Canucks play a boring style for once and show us they are capable of winning of 2-1/3-2 kind of game. I want to see them play good defensively.
I would say they played pretty decently defensively against Vegas and SJ, and still put up some goals.

Player of the game is tough tonight... Roy or Milic... I gotta go Milic, even though Roy has been great.
