Big game tonight, winner advances straight to the semi's while the loser plays the Petes in the tie breaker tomorrow night.

Clean but dangerous hit. Within the rules, but outside the code to do that in that situation.
Yep, wasn't dirty but it definitely was dangerous. Didn't need to happen in a 10-1 game.
Really hope that Masters is okay and they are just being extra cautious and getting him checked out by doctors.
That game was definitely Blazer hockey this year, and the team I came to expect throughout the season. Can't wait for the game against Seattle.

Stankoven is so much fun to watch.
Yeah he is, he'll be a great player in the NHL. Just don't tell Alf

The Loop is dominating. The Petes look out matched in both their games.
This is the Blazers team I've watched all year, they played really bad against Quebec and Ernst was very shaky.

Boys are playing well this period!

Ugh there was contact, but the goalie would never have gotten back. As a Blazer fan, don't like it but can understand it.

No he wouldn’t. Lots of smaller guys have done well against the boys in the WHL. Then they end up stars in the A.
Not sure if you are aware that he was the last player cut from Dallas this year, and played very well in pre-season for them. Yeah, pretty sure he'll be in the NHL in the near future.
Most players who win CHL player of the year at 18 years old, and then are in the conversation again in their 19 year season go on to have succesful NHL careers.

Dylan Sydor?
Family hire?
Dylan would've been playing in the WHL, even if it wasn't for Kamloops. But he's a 3rd/4th liner on Kamloops, and is effective in that roll. Don't see him going further than major junior.

And now he’s up against bigger, faster players we see why he was a late second round pick. As the level of competition increases (men sized players) Stankoven will struggle more. He will be a very good AHL player. Alf is pulling for Roy’s club.
He's played against men sized players all year long lol. If Stank was drafted this past summer, he would have been a top 5 pick, he developed huge since his draft year.

They are playing against a bigger club. Stankoven is showing he’s a bit small and slow to be effective. It’s the same club.
This team has been dominate in the WHL against big fast teams, Seattle was really Kamloops' only competition this year... It's not like the team from the Q is bigger and faster than any team in the W.

Ernst has been shaky. Coughing up rebounds all game. Hope he can find his game.
The layoff since the playoff loss to Seattle hasn’t helped either. Team seems rusty.
Yeah they definitely have been rusty, I was worried about that when they lost to Seattle.

Interesting how Stankoven looks small and ineffective when playing against stronger players.
Gotta say you're completely wrong here lol.
Stank was the CHL player of the year last year, and was one of the best players in the CHL again this year. He has played against many big, strong players the last two years and made them look silly.
-
Terrible period... This isn't the Kamloops team that played all year. Also don't think Ernst is playing well tonight, not that all the goals are on him but 2-3 are.
-
Blazers definitely carrying play in the first. Wish I wasn't away at work so I could actually be at the games and not watching on tv.

Bob is the SOLE reason they won that series, other than Chukys 3 goals hw was invisable this series
Bob has been the most impactful player out of anyone in the NHL in these playoffs, and it's really not close.

Tkachuk is making a solid case.
He'd be Florida's second, but he hasn't done close to what Bob has. If Bob hasn't played at like a .95% they wouldn't be here, wouldn't have got out of the first round.

So Bob should win the Conn Smythe no matter what happens in the Finals imo. He's carried this Florida team more than any other player in the playoffs, by far.
-
Surprised, figured they'd call that back. Not that I think it should've been.
-
-
Good for Florida, but this one leaves a sour taste in my mouth for the Canes. That was 100% a penalty that should have been called and never missed, you have 4 officials on the ice.
Also, if Florida makes it to the cup final, how do you not give Bob the Conn Smythe even if they don't win the cup? He's single handedly winning them series.

How do you not f**king call that but you call the BS slash in the 2nd period. This reffing is atrocious, or they want the Panthers to win. Possibly both lol.

That was such a weak call, Tkachuk sold it hard.
