  1. Where are you based? I've sent multiple emails to NHLTV support and had no response. Called their helpline but as its $0.89 cents a minute to call it from NZ I gave up after 10 minutes on hold.
  2. We realise this. Unfortunately the app doesn't work in NZ so it's a f*cking terrible solution. Right now I've paid 150NZD for an annual NHL pass that's unusable!
  3. Unfortunately I don't think it's available in New Zealand.
  4. That's the worst part- you can't even buy ESPN here- most of the content is dictated by Sky who have zero interest in Ice Hockey.
  5. That’s true except for NZ and Australia who don’t have nhl tv or ESPN+ NHL.com points kiwis to the ESPN app but it doesn’t work in NZ. Have paid for NHLTV and can’t watch games. https://www.nhl.com/info/where-to-stream
  6. I can certainly stream games however having the NHL app meant I could watch on any device. The most important one being Apple TV with the home theatre. Beyond frustrated right now.
  7. Kia Ora. Got a shock this morning logging into my NHL account. Have you figured out any ways to watch games?
  8. First off apologies if this is the wrong forum but hoping for some help from the international fans. Since the NHL launched it's streaming service a decade ago I've watched every Canucks game via NHL.TV This year it looks like they have sold their soul to ESPN which means no NHL coverage for NZ. Short of a VPN solution has anyone found a way to get games streamed from outside of the USA/Canada? Looking forward to this season and will be mightily p*ssed off if I can't watch the Canucks.
  9. Will be a fair bit of irony in the Habs losing to a high stick that drew blood given what happened to Perry against the Knights.
  10. I can bring myself to cheer for Price, Weber and Burr. Hate the thought of the Habs winning and definitely not keen on a Bolts B2B. I know it’s a LTIR quirk but the benefit they’ve received with the loaded cap has been obvious in every series as it’s come down to depth.
  11. God I wish the Canucks could have half the love the Bruins receive. Free goal followed by an automatic 5+ game for spearing being reduced to a slash. don’t like Barzal with the cross check but at least that play is standard playoff hockey.
  12. I’m an ex goalie so biased on these but if your pad is being forced one way it’s very hard to get your upper body across. Varlomov went from a skate on the post to a foot off the post from Marchands stick pushing his pad away. war room just gave NBC an explanation and said they felt Marchand could have scored on the rebound and didn’t prevent the goalies movement. Wtf?
  13. Really? That’s text book interference. Not only is the stick in you can see Marchand pushing the pad away from the post where they score. only reason it’s not coming back is it’s Boston so different rules apply.
  14. I hate the hit and think it was unnecessary but I don't know what they get him on if it's a suspension. With the glide he changes his angle so I'm not sold it's charging and the speed is justified by the play, it wasn't a traditional charge to lay a hit. He doesn't leave his feet and his arms are tucked as he explodes into him. The hit wasn't late either- he nearly prevented it the goal as the timing was bang on. Arguably Evans is even at fault cutting in and putting himself in a sketchy position (although players are normally aware enough to recognise the danger of a hit in that spot). There is some contact with the head although it doesn't look like the principle point of contact. Maybe that's what they get him on? I'd love to see an overhead play of the hit so you can see his full line to Evans and I'm guessing the NHL will have that angle to try and confirm charging. It's a scary play and one that just does not happen often. 99% of the game there is a goalie there so the attacking player isn't cutting in front at that angle and you don't tend to see a lot of wraparound empty netters with that separation either- both players are normally closer to the puck.
  15. Good on Perry. He did nothing wrong but let Foligno send his message. not many times in his career that I’ve had respect for Perry but this is one of them.
  16. Yep. That was sickening to watch the way he folded when they tried to sit him up. Hope it’s a concussion, hit like that could break a neck.
  17. Rough call on Edler but dumb play to trail the leg like that as it leaves you open to the refs who will never side with a Canuck. Hyman has created the impact trying to avoid the hit and to looked thigh on knee which isn't normal for a game misconduct.
  18. Not sure I agree with this. We haven’t asked Holtby to steal games. Early in the season it was on the players but lately it’s his technique that’s letting him down on reasonably basic chances. 3 of the goals today were stoppable. 2 one on ones from the outside and, an admittedly screened, goal where his butterfly was all over the place and the puck went through the gap. hoping it’s an issue of him trying to adjust under Clark and just taking a while to bed in. From memory Markstrom saw a similar patch where he was terrible with the basics but once he bedded into Clark’s style he was lights out.
  19. Man I don’t usually bag on a goalie but Holtby is a special kind of bad this year. Just can’t make a basic save when it’s needed
  20. Great work and love the extra shot to prove a point. Stepping up for the rookie. Hoglanders reaction is priceless too haha!
  21. Canucks must be the only team in the league that can literally get jumped and not get a power play. Gutless referreeing.
