Wow... Can't believe Buck is back. I don't think Lulay has anything to worry about though, but he's likely going to be the 2nd string. I wonder what will happen to DeMarco (and will he give up his number).
Edit: Lions roster have him wearing #11.

lol u guys going to run the table or what? Love it when other teams peak too early.
They all took different roads there, but Lions won when they hosted, Argos when they hosted..... and now Sask going 5-0 when they are set to host.

Great is in the eye of the beholder.
I remember those "great" fans pelting our players on the sidelines with...? Garbage cans, bottles/cans, cell phones (brilliant). So much so that they had to delay the game as the team headed off the bench, to mid field and away from the barrage of crap.
There's all kinds of great. Drunk great. Fun great. Show up for decades great. Noisy/boisterous great. When it crosses over?....not so great.
FTR, some of my favourite people are from or cheer fo Saskatchewan (you know who you are BB, SN, cousins). But I'm tired of hearing about "Rider Pride". Our pride of Lions is pretty spectacular too.
Fair enough, but not all Canucks fan riot...

One question. Was there any sign of a "Geroy's Corner" anymore? Maybe a different player? Or is it totally gone.
Completely gone, It was about 2 sections over from me. I hope the owners of the sign pull it out for the game vs Saskatchewan, I am sure they will.

Home from the game. What a win ! I was concerned after last week and pre season, but they definitely got their game together and pulled thru tonight. So happy with the results tonight.
This year marks year 7 as a season ticket holder, but I averaged 5 games a years for about15 years before that.

Thomas Demarco sucks
Just got home from the game. Yeah, I was not impressed by him at all. It's been a while since I haven't had faith in 2 QBs. Hopefully Lulay stays healthy, because I don't like our odds without him. Then again, this is based on one game, maybe he's better than what I saw.

According to TSN.ca, the new Ottawa CFL will reveal their name and logo on June 8. The choices of potential names are: the Nationals, Redblacks, Rush, Voyageurs and Raftsmen.
I was hoping for RiverMen since the Ottawa river was a major factor in the early years of the founding of Canada.

I'm looking at the Lions 2013 schedule at the CFL website:
http://www.cfl.ca/schedule/year/2013/1
and it shows 2 exhibition games and *19* regular season games.
Is this a mistake or did the CFL increase the season from 18 games to 19 games?
I find it interesting that the Lions only play 2 different teams in July.

I really hope Toronto does release him and out of respect, no other team in the CFL signs him. The guy is a major loser and douche bag. It's no wonder his former team mates are happy he's gone. I can only imagine what kind of cancer he was in the locker room. I say GOOD RIDDANCE!
If he does play in Vancouver for week 2 I can guarantee I will be booing the loser every chance I get!

I missed the game yesterday, so disappointed. I tried to record "Jays in 30" last night, but it ended up recording cricket instead. I would have loved to watch the 9th inning comeback.

1:30 am, Tuesday morning. Just got home from Grey Cup. What a blast. If you've never been to Grey Cup festivities I strongly recommend going here in Vancouver next season. Don't have to go to the game, just check out the parties the teams put on. This was my 6th Grey Cup and my tickets for number 7 are already paid for.
On a side note, Shea Emry was on my flight home, so talked to him for a while in the waiting area.
