If you ask fans of other teams, Bo is THE guy that they wanted on their team. Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto and San Jose were very high on him. Everybody said he was the safest pick in the draft outside of the top 4. His ceiling might not have been as high, but how many players with high ceilings for potential never reach them? There's a reason why all those teams wanted him, they know what he is capable of, but its the intangibles he possesses that will force him to be even better than he projects. What he's gonna bring to the canucks is leadership, on and off the ice. I just came from an autograph signing, and i got him to sign both my Knights and Canucks jersey, but there were many people who were getting him to sign Canucks stuff, because everybody here gets the feeling he won't be back. Everybody around London knows how special he is as a player, and is mature beyond his years. In some cases, the maturity is what slows down development, much like Kadri in Toronto, and Seguin in Boston. Just.. trust me. We have our future captain. I know this is all irrelevant, but character players with skill will do what it takes to win. Every time. He had a line of almost 400 people to get his autograph, and it was growing. My son wanted a pic with him, but the PR guy said no pics cause the line was too long, but he said to come get him after they were done.. and he waited. can't stress enough, but it's not often that a player is "beloved" by their fans, especially in junior. Someone asked him about the Luongo trade, and he just said he's glad to be part of the future. Honoured that they gave up what they did to pick him. I made sure he knew who "Stork" was.

If Monahan can make the team in his first year, there's no reason why Horvat can't in his second. There's nothing left for him in the OHL, so that's pointless. He's physically ready, and this team will need youth

Bo isn't in the lineup tonight, he's being considered day to day. I don't think he made the trip to Kitchener today, cause i saw him at the arena when i picked up this.. they look .. good together. getting them signed on monday hopefully.

i don't think the leafs offered him a contract, just invited him and his brother to training camp. i'd honestly compare him to brad marchand, with a bit of an edge. both brothers play similar

I know this is a stretch, but i always thought Mark Hunter would be a great gm in the nhl. He's done wonders in constantly keeping london a contender, not an easy task in junior hockey
