After watching the Silva post fight comments I really hope he never fights again in UFC. His comments towards Maia are completely unwarranted and his arrogant demeanor is a crock.

Where do you get the info that Silva walks around at 225? I do agree that he is a bigger man than GSP but when he fights at 185 he looks really lean and slender, for him to drop another 10 pounds could really hinder his fighting. Silva is best suited to fight at 205. After tonight I could really care less to see him fight at all, and by Dana White's comments he feels the same way.

How can you feel bad for the guy? If he has absolutely no competition why the hell didn't he walk in and knock the guy out? Instead he dances around the ring like a retard. He made a mockery of the sport tonight.

It will be shown tonight on PPV, not really worth watching in my opinion. I want the 2 hours or so of my life back after watching it. Definitively a waste of money to buy on PPV.

I can't wait to see the press conference later. You just know that White will make him pay for ahat he pulled tonight. After all it isn't the first time Silva has done something similar. If White wants to make it up to the fans maybe he could have Silva's hands tied behind his back and let someone knock him out. Right now that's what I would like to see. I'm so sick of watching Silva fight. Something has to give, maybe strip him of the belt and make him fight for it.

If I had gone to the pub to watch the PPV like I had originally planned I would have been right pissed. I feel bad for all the poeple that are looking forward to seeing this tonight, they are in for a huge, HUGE letdown. Well he keeps promising it fight after fight, but it never seems to happen.

This fight brought back the painful memories of the Kalib Starnes / Nate Quarry debacle.

Pretty sure UFC will post them tonight after the PPV is over, but if anyone can find them before I'd love to see them. I'm just itching to hear White's reaction.

White went over to Silva's corner after the 4th round and I can guarantee is wasn't to say "good fight" Dana white has to be pissed. Silva has turned this into a joke. F'ing pathetic. If Silva is such a great fighter, why the hell didn't he finish him?

Optimist does have a point, I am sure that like me everyone assumed that it was him making the posts. Until I read that it wasn't him that is what I thought. The "New" guy should at least have let everyone know that (At least once he was aware of it) in his blog.

BJ Penn was destroyed by GSP. If you go by the pre fight comments of Penn he FAILED big time. GSP showed why he is the dominant fighter. GSP made Penn give up. I am sure there will be people who say it was his corner that gave up, but GSP was well on his way to kill him. This was the best thing that could have come out of this fight for a GSP fan.

Are you on crack? GSP fights at 170 all the time which is what he weighed in at. GSP did not cut any weight for the fight. Last time I checked Hughes beat Penn the last time Penn decided to jump up a class and GSP destroyed Hughes. GSP fight 170 pounders all the time. Penn has also, but with limited success. Say what you want, but to say Penn is going to kill GSP, you are wrong. This will be a great fight, but GSP will win.
