  1. Both good, but both different. Empire gives you the itch for the city to get its act together and build that stadium in gastown. BC Place is good, more controlled, but still fun. It's also better when the roof is open.

Empire was beautiful, perfect size, but the bad part was it's location. BC Place is right by the skytrain vs waiting for the bus at the PNE for hours if the buses are too full.

Hopefully I'll get to check out BC Place soon!

  2. I STRONGLY disagree with this. I think these five minutes are too long for MMA sports, and most of the players are gassed by the 4-minute mark. A lot of overseas stuff uses 3-minute rounds, and I find the action to be much more intense (partly due to no grappling/wrestling, but they really do tire much slower than UFC guys). Even boxing uses 3-minute rounds to keep the level play as intense as possible.

I understand that they can't suddenly change the times, but having shorter fights is also good. I don't care about PPV people wanting a more valuable deal, if White wants UFC to become more exciting, he can't have boring fights. Even though it was just a three-round match, didn't it look like Rampage and Rashad were exhausted? Sure, there might have been a different outcome in a five-round match (maybe even a KO), but it would DEFINITELY be a lower quality fight during those last 10 minutes.

Stamina is an important thing, but I think most would agree that we can sacrifice a bit of that for a few more flying fists. If you don't agree, watch old-school wrestling.

Here is a grossly unfair comparison (I admit it):

Three-minute fights, but there's no grappling/wrestling (a CRAPLOAD of energy required for that), so yeah. But come on, who likes it when someone is in a guard and they are just chilling for a few seconds to catch their breath? I want non-stop action.

Well if you are able to earn a spot in the main event, you should be expected to be able to last the whole fight. If your the best...

EDIT: Longer rounds, higher chance of knockouts or submissions

  3. Do you guys ever get games where just nothing seem to work, your guns seem so underpowered compared to everybody else?

I was playing on Terminal and I was pretty close to this guy, shooting my silenced M4A1 at his head and it felt like I needed to empty my whole clip on him before he finally died. Then later I was playing on Sub Base, it seemed like I was dying in 2 shots at distance from the UMP (no stopping power) but my Vector at close range needed more than half its clip. What got me the most was at close range with the spas-12, first shot=hit maker, second shot=hit maker, third shot=dead. 3 freaking shots all very close range with a shotgun. Next guy needed 2 shots at close range.

I stopped playing, it jus felt like my guns were nothing compared to everybody else, then again I get days were it seems I only need 2 shots with any gun from long range to take people out, all shotguns seem 1 hit kill from max distance. Luck of the draw I guess.

    Been there forsure.

  4. This may be a stupid noobish question but its something that has been bothering me. Sometimes I will have 1 or 2 kills and then I turn a corner and see about 2-3 guys coming so I spray away and sometimes I come out alive. now that leaves me with a UAV, and a Care Package. Now my question is, is there a way to make it so I use my UAV before my care package? I hate using the care package without knowing if there is someone sneaking up behind me.

Usually whereever you respawn after a death may be a good area because most likely your teamates will be around...

if not, throw it, and turn on UAV right after
