Can anyone tell me how to fix a broken PP This game was almost as bad as in Calgary.

I mean serious contenders. Like winning a cup.

He will never be anything with this team. Had a bit of a run, but it’s over. Maybe with luck he could fit in with a new team and get some confidence back. I told all my friends the same thing years ago with the other high paid player Luongo. Said they would never win a cup with him because he choked on all the big saves when it really counted.

That’s my opinion too.

Anyone notice that with even 6 players out there and an empty net it only took 2 Oilers to keep the Canucks in their own zone. The whole game was a struggle to get the puck across the blue line. 50 shots will tell that story.

Going to need to really step up the shots to make them mean something then. If Oilers play like they did against Calgary the other night the Canucks will have a hard time winning.

I wondered about that too.

Welcome back team Green. Bruce must be thinking that this team is beyond hope., and probably sorry he got into this headache. Hurricanes could have beat them short handed easily.

Nor am I. Not going to look up stats but don’t think it’s worked well for the Canucks in past games. Especially against a team who just got three 2 man breakaways in the 3rd period.

The only good things in that game were the 1 point and LA camera work. I hate Anaheim’s high camera. Makes the players small. LA has the lower cam and great board shots. Best is league.

Will it even be played?

Thought they would lose looking at the unsteady play in first period. Lots of turnovers and falling down. Slowly got it together. Good call on the goalie interference or that would have been game I think. Demko was solid again. Stops their best in the shootout. Meters put on a show there too. Pettersson still needs to learn to stay on his feet and how to avoid getting taken off the puck so easily. At least he smiled after the winner.

Kinda what I thought too. Felt sorry and wanted him to break the streak.

That’s ok. People tell me their names to my face and a second after I hear it I forget it.

Ever notice the firsts that seem to happen with Canucks? Shutout on Bruce’s first night. Goal by Lammikko, first as a Canuck. Go back over the years and it seems players always seem to score on their first night as a Canuck. Damn good game. Funny how when I saw Chaisson on the bench and I thought when the heck did Janik Hansen come back. Let’s hope this wasn’t a one time showing.

If Edler scores a goal, you don’t have to pretend. It “will” be a goal.

They do have them in football too and I have to turn it off. Women sing awesome, but in announcing there is no up and down emotion, and the voices are too soft and monotone.

Same as when they announce football. I’m just not used to it because I’m old.

Better than when I hear a woman announcer. Sorry Ladies, no offence you all are great at most stuff, but it sounds like when my wife drones on and on. I can’t listen or comprehend.

Stop going to games. A few games with an empty stadium might get the message through. If one does not like a product they don’t buy it. I became a fan since the early 70’s when Kurtenbach was my neighbour. Been to many games and stopped going a few years ago. Many friends have given up their seasons tickets as well.

Looking forward to tomorrow’s sports. Maybe Canucks get stomped by Vegas and BC Lions smashed by Calgary. Good times for the west coast syndrome of teams. Thank God for Formula 1
