  1. if anything the standing tickets will probably be more expensive, you know what the sfa are like seriously though, they need to do something to try and get more people into the grounds, they had a special offer on at aberdeen on saturday that if you turned up with a season ticket holder, you got in for a quid and there still wasnt 8000 at the game.
  2. I hope they go through with it, we never had any problems in scotland with standing, although pitodrie has been all seated before i started going. away days were always more atmospheric and i reckon a big part of that was because we were standing. any problems that happen in scotland at games are in city centres/train stations before/after the games in other news, i see uefa have charged celtic again.........yous are f**ked this time!!!!
  3. The AC Milan president was speaking about the chances of signing Tevez in an interview I read the other day and he said that Tevez has 2 choices, first, he could go to Milan from the chance to play for a great club with honour, tradition with the chance to win one of europes greatest leagues and compete regularly in europe or he could go to paris for the money.........See you in Paris then Carlos. Also, ANOTHER hat trick for Ronaldo last night!!!!!
  4. fixed shocking standard of football though and even worse refereeing, never a pen nor a red card, the red card was a joke, was barely a foul!!! i used to really like thompson as a ref, ive seen him ref some big euro qualifiers, the playoffs I believe and some big, later stage champions league and europa league games really well but today he was awful and his linesmen were not much better!!! that said, who cares, 3 points are all that counts and if we can do the same in inverness next week, we are well on our way back to the top 6
  5. Playing right into Platini's hands that, it wont only be the media that have a field day. Platini could go nuts with this. I would be afraid, very very afraid. These (in bold) are the ones that really p!ss me off, if you polled them, I doubt 5% could actually tell you what the whole thing is about. I say it again, and not to provoke arguement or anything else, but Celtic have a way bigger problem with this than the other lot. Until some major banning orders are actually enforced, nothing will change. It has to come from the police and the stewards at the games and those, as I have said before, can be the worst offenders at times. Did I not take that bet on by the way?
  6. thats a good thing I think and probably needs to happen, i liked lennons comment that he was surprised that they got the spelling right. what did it actually say?
  7. this european adventure is going to end up costing celtic money, bet they wish sion won their appeal now!!!
  8. should be two good games, ajax are a decent young side who were robbed of progress in the champions league. always fun in holland
  9. I have bolded the teams I would like to avoid simply because of the travel and conditions. There is no team on this list that should concern us over 2 legs but to be honest, Im really not arsed
  10. at anfield, the away fans are on the bottom level and the home fans above p!ss on the away fans, throw bottle of p!ss etc. been there twice and both times that has happened to us. they are proper dirty b'stards and the stewards/coppers do f**k all
  11. massive 3 points, now we have a good run of games coming up, fingers crossed we should be back in the top 6 by the split. i seen lennon watching from the stands, in his celtic coat........what a t!t
  12. take your rain hood, dirty b'stards p!ss on you from above and good luck in the game
  13. Scotland will miss him badly if he is not back before qualifiers start again. Now SAF has his excuse for buyng a midfielder in Jan It is a shame, he is a good lad too
  14. well done rent boys. had to laugh at their fans celebrating at the end.......carrying on like they won the league!!!!!
  15. better but still only papering over the cracks against a team that will, along with the inbreds of blackburn and bolton, be relegated. as the maanger said yesterday, rooney tends to score in bunches so hopefully this will get him going again. i watched el classico last night and we are a country mile away from either of those teams, it hurts me to say it but its true. not just the starting 11, their depth is scary good
  16. deep down he must know the whole squad is lacking but particularly midfield. I think that all this guff he comes out with is to keep the wesley price down. I also agree about Wednesdays starting 11, that team was set up for a draw and then when chasing the game Rooney somehow ended up wide left? Although never happy to get knocked out, I know where you are coming from. I said when the transfer window closed we had no chance in the champions league and would have to get a kind draw to make it to the last 8. One of my concerns was if we drew barca, madrid or bayern, their midfields are so strong, that could have really harmed cleverley's development. off to ot this aft to see what sort of response we get.
