Deb, I for one do not like mediocre hockey. I don’t want this team to end up like Calgary and play for a bunch of first round exits. The team has talent but Benning hasn’t really done anything with the core other than surround them with waiver pick ups and “project players”. His free agency signings have all been atrocious. His only silver lining in this mess is the Miller trade. There is no common ground when it comes to liking benning, or disliking him. I do not like Benning, and especially after the COVID situation where he wouldn’t even face the media and made Green sit in front of the camera. His own players publicly called out ownership and management (indirectly) and that right there is the nail in the coffin for me. I will always cheer for the Canucks. But I will never support Benning.
