actually the necessity for twinning the pipeline is to meet the need for INCREASED OIL SANDS PRODUCTION  EMISSISIONS EQUIVELANT TO 2.7 MILLION CARS at which point Canada wont  be able to reach  its own carbon emission decrease target that they themselves set ? way to go JT   interesting listen included in this link. .https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/grassroots-group-filing-legal-motion-for-neb-1.4986654

You think the oil sands are the only place in alberta where they're getting oil?

The risk of a massive spill are nearly negligible. Its about as valid as saying we should stop flying out of YVR and use Abbottsford airport instead, because a plane may one day crash into the Burns Bog.

Maybe we should just stop getting out of bed because we may one day bang our head.

Agreed. If the new PlayStation is backwards compatible I'll buy it otherwise I won't even consider it. Same thing goes for the new Xbox.

If both are, I'll buy both. If neither are then I won't purchase them but I think there's next to no chance the new Xbox isn't BC. It'll probably work with the XBO controllers as well. I have all but 2 of my 360 games compatible on my Xbox One and the 2 games that aren't are games that came with the system that I never played.

Every one of my xbox 360 games works on my one. But I don't want to have my original out either. Just one xbox to rule them all would be fantastic. I absolutely hate having to hold on to all my ps stuff as sony just disregards backwards compatibility all together. This generation will be determined by bc for me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he still has one more year of Junior next season? I don't think he's eligible for Utica until the following year. He was a really young pick I think, kind of like Woo.

    In June he'll be 20

Couldn’t the pipeline be built and a plant to turn the bitumen into pucks be build in bc at the end of the line? Manufacture the pucks in bc and ship from there. Rail shipments can stop and the oil spill risk at the coast is taken away.

Problem is quantity. It's already going to take a lot of time and money just to get a facility going to make 50,000 barrels worth a day. Like it was said before Canada needs to find a way to ship over 1 million per day. I can appreciate that it's a start, it's just not enough yet.

  6. They want to be able to make a whopping 50,000 barrels per day? What's supposed to happen to the other 1mil plus that is produced per day? I like this idea and it's been fun to watch, but it is not going to end up being worth it. It will cost too much to amount made and won't go very far.

The fact that a lot of people are comparing Pettersson to McDavid and Gretzky is kind of nice, and shows the level this kid is at. Canucks didn't have to tank to get him either (elite drafting).

It doesn't really matter who's better at this stage than whomever. Pettersson has a long, prosperous career ahead of him. Boxscores a couple of years from now will read a lot like "Pettersson from Hughes and Boeser" or "Boeser from Pettersson and Hughes". Those three (along with Horvat and Virtanen) are going to produce a lot.

Wtf didn't have to tank to get him? Canucks were 2nd last in the league.

    Very simplistic analysis

There are many reasons why west coast salmon are heading to extinction.    Global warming is certainly one of the leading causes in the decline of our salmon.

Climate change: Arctic reindeer numbers crash by half

     BBC News, Washington DC
The population of wild reindeer, or caribou, in the Arctic has crashed by more than half in the last two decades.

A new report on the impact of climate change in the Arctic revealed that numbers fell from almost 5 million to around 2.1 million animals.

For the love of god, please stop using the internet. Computers cannot be made without oil byproducts; smart phones cannot be used without oil byproducts; your car, bus, trains etc cannot be used without oil byproducts. All in all everything posted by this username is just completely hypocritical. I get there are issues in Canada when it comes to oil. What I don't get is how someone can seem so blatantly oblivious. Canada is trouble. Oil money can help immensely. All we are doing is supporting every other country.

Last September, San Francisco and Oakland filed separate lawsuits against five oil companies, seeking billions for the cost of sea-level rise. And this month, New York City announced it was suing BP, ExxonMobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, and Shell for damages associated with multi-billion dollar storms and sea-level rise.

That was a big reason for me, as well as the release of KH3 (still in January, right? please.) .

Has there been an "uncharted" of this gen?

A lot of the key releases are just re-masters of great PS1 games lol.

What are some great games for this system? This is genuine curiosity, I want to know which ones I should pick up that I've missed :P

Tbh I've been going pretty steady on my Switch. Rumors are that they are looking into porting the KH remixes and KH3 to the switch. Looks like the decision is on how well sales do in January.

  11. Finally got around to finishing South Park: Stick of Truth. This game was an absolute delight. If you are a South Park fan, Matt and Trey treated you right. The easter eggs are fun and the new content was witty as ever. If anyone has thought of playing this I would easily recommend. It's pretty much a 7-9 hour interactive South Park episode.

Thursday is a good bet. You can put Ferland on IR+ if you don’t want to drop anyone yet.

edit: he was quoted as saying “I’ll be playing tomorrow” just a few minutes ago.

You're a good man Arty, I don't care what MM says about you when you're not around.
