  6. Latest update is on the site, and it contains two seasons of data. Congratulations to Pakiam Brandon Ali II (2025-26), Joachim Ohman Silwerfeldt (2026-27), and Andrei Suppressnikov (2026-27) on winning the Stanley Cup!
  7. Boe Jiden (@Sane33) and Stanislav Gorbatenko (@Blue Jay 22) have announced their retirement.
  8. Latest update is on the site. Congratulations to Leo Dos Santos and Robert Stano on winning the Stanley Cup!
  9. He's fallen off a bit since his prime but he could still be a top-6 forward elsewhere. Montreal is quite stacked on the wings so I'd imagine you're mostly getting 3rd line ice time there. Salim's playing in Europe now unfortunately and there's not much I can do to change that. To answer your question from your other post before I forget: yes, it looks like Chicago is playing you and Barbindamousse on the top line together. Chicago's loaded up front now with fellow CAPs Bratt and Baker on the second line, but they're looking pretty thin on defense and an aging Jake Allen in goal isn't helping either. A lot of their players are getting up there in age so I'd assume they have another year or two of contending before it comes apart.
  10. Latest update is on the site. Congratulations to Jovan Camper on winning the Stanley Cup! On a side note, it does seem like interest is waning a bit. I may start simming a couple seasons per update just to speed it up. If you're thinking about requesting a trade to a contender before retirement for one last shot at a cup, please let me know ASAP.
  11. I think we should implement a system where the bad teams who desperately need help are deprived of top picks. Maybe have some sort of lottery on top of the usual lottery? Please, don't fire me, just friendly discussion!
  12. The Sabres were one of the better teams in the league last year if you're okay with sticking it out there. Otherwise, the Flames (4 Cups in a row), Islanders, Senators, and Ducks are contenders with interest. edit: The Flames have somehow won 4 cups in a row, not 3. In case anyone's curious...
  13. Latest update is on the site. Congrats to Salim Kane on winning the Stanley Cup!
  14. Latest update is on the site. I made an oopsie with some of the history data from the previous update, so let me know if anything looks goofy there.
  15. St. Louis recalls Joshua Szetela and Georgy Bulatov.
  16. I've just added career NHL stats for everyone to the site. You'll be able to sort by column eventually but I'm too lazy to implement this right now. https://cdccap.web.app/leaderboard
  17. Probably worth pointing out that the salary cap in this database is around $44M, so salaries are roughly half as much as you'd expect them to be in 2020-21.
  18. Edmonton does seem to have finally turned a corner, but they've done so by adding a lot of good vets who are on their last legs. If they're going to compete for a cup, it's going to be in the next year or two before things fall apart. The Bruins and Canucks are probably your best bets. All of the other interested teams have a legit #1 goalie and you'd probably be fighting for ice-time with them. Let me know which team you prefer and I'll put the trade through.
