      Was McLaren getting his ass kicked? Fights usually involve tunnel vision and trying to ragdoll the guy. Could have been trying to grab a jersey, grabbed some hair, and was hanging on for dear life so he didn't let go. Also, why does no one ever complain about fishhooking? It's way cheaper than pulling hair.
