Well just because I am not leaping for joy because they won against the kraken doesn't me not a fan. It's the process to how they win that should be important to everyone. We have a president who sad we have a bad camp and have started poorly and this was after they all said they needed to be better. I think change needs to happen. The mix is wrong. I just don't understand why the people that support them no matter what get angry when fans hold them to a higher standard. It's what needs to happen if we ever want this franchise to win the cup and isn't that the ultimate goal.

Because most fans here a drug addicts. False hope and retool is the drug and the Canucks ownership is the dealers. Ownership is constantly telling us that rebuild is not good. It won't work. Other teams were successful only because they are lucky and it's too hard. Ignore all of it and smoke up on false hope and retool. Don't think and just keep buying what we are selling.

Surprised by some people saying the team should tank it for Bedard on the many forums and twitter - Canucks have not actually been big winners in the lottery in the past years if I may recall. Did they not drop down essentially every lottery except the last one. Probably closer to losing the draft at 80% so forget the tanking as all luck and this team seldom gets any. I do not see the point in letting Boudreau go either - not as if there is a huge interest / strong replacement in the Vancouver job right now given this weeks events from the fans. And if we based it on Mike Yeo's last record with the Flyers, not sure if they should go that route either. So in the end, its trying to repair the team via trade - probably a key forward for decent D. I would some decisions after the November 1st game. Both NJ/Seattle are competitive teams and we will see where this Canucks team really stands. I think the Pens are a bit too tough for them right now.

Deep draft. Not drafting Bedard will still land us a elite prospect.

I don't think JR will allow it to get that bad.  Neither will Aquilini.  Especially considering how everyone said Aquilini waited too long last year to fire Green and Benning.

Mind you I don't really have an issue with this continuing as it will allow us to have a shot at Bedard and maybe JR will embrace a full rebuild...

Me too. I am praying we go 0-20 bc the only way the Canucks have a chance of winning a cup is by God's will where he forces Aquilini into a rebuild.

Even if we dont get Bedard. This draft is deep with highly skilled prospects that can speed up the rebuild. But this rebuild has to start now so that it 6 years time. We can finally have a shot at the playoffs and maybe the cup.

The core guys in this organization want to succeed and win, that’s evident imo. Management needs to provide them a stronger supporting cast. Allvin & co made strides this off season, but it’s still a work in progress. Im preaching patience.

Huh? the supporting cast is fine. That is why they are called the supporting cast. The core guys need to step up. But the thing is, our core guys are 2nd liners on most teams. So we are forcing square pegs into round holes.

  5. Wonder what would happen if we went 0-5 to start the season? And then win 10-0? Do we chalk it up to bad start as a signature of the team? Or is it a sign that the individuals on the team, though good on their own, aren't good together?

Based on past history viewings. It seems like the individuals are not suited well together. But whatever. Story of the Canucks. Never great and never good

How many poorly wrapped parting gifts did Benning leave for the next management to unwrap?  Dickinson is just one of many. Pile them all up, and it’s almost an impossible mess to clean up.

This. Benning truly is the worst GM the Canucks has ever had.
