  1. The Cowboys aren't winning, the Lions are falling apart.
  2. It might be soft but it's the rule they have been enforcing all season.
  3. Keep it up Indy. I need to stick it in my ex-girlfriend's Bengal-fan-face when you knock 'em out of the playoffs.
  4. Ryan Miller + Special Teams > Red Wings

  5. Oh yeah! These guys: (can't embed right now) https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/AFADF9EFEA1153438021178290176_38916d2d78c.1.1.3836938253198270653.mp4?versionId=F2jGIEj_kpgWuYIn9zkdznnOmMDP9Gl_ In case anyone is wondering, the Rams trolled the Redskins at the pregame coin toss by sending out all of their players drafted with the picks acquired in the RG3 deal. In hindsight the RG3 deal worked out pretty good for the Rams. In a world where NFL 1st rounders are sure to make an impact on the roster the following season moving 3 1sts for 1 had better be a sure thing. Do the Eagles have the depth and confidence to draft Mariota, lose someone like Foles, and then not have 1st round picks for 2 more years? I don't think too many teams can get away with that and Philly doesn't seem like one of them.
  6. I have a thin grasp (at best) on what constitutes fair value in an NFL trade. What's it going to take for Philly to pry that pick out of Tampa? My immediate guess is a hell of a lot, followed by thoughts of Tampa being stupid for having done so. edit: just had a quick look at last years draft trades, and remembered that Buffalo took Cleveland's 4th overall off of their hands for the 9th overall, another 1st and 4th in 2015. So change the 4th into another 1st in 2016 and we approach fair value?
  7. What a game. 2 games that kept me on my ass for most of the day. Alabama had no urgency when it counted. Well, Ohio State and Oregon will be great.
  8. Wow. Bama showing signs of pooping themselves in the 3rd.
  9. Haha, this is awesome. Entertaining first half, and what a endzone tightrope catch TD at the end of the half! Stupid halftime at the same time of intermission in the Canucks game...
  10. Assuming the 32 point lead holds up for less than a 4th quarter, Mariota will have to be a hell of a lot better early in the Championship Game to have a chance against Bama. Would be crap to see a Bama upset, even though I dislike them, I want them to lose on the 12th. Almost halfway to a beastly Championship Game matchup.
  11. It looked like he stepped on a banana peel and sent the ball flying. Plenty of turnovers by FSU.
  12. Well, that's a bit dramatic there LaBamba, I see the Ducks adjusting at halftime and coming out swingin'.
  13. Aaaand it's gone. Throws a pick and gives FSU a chance at the end of the half. Get your sht together.
  14. I cherry picked the most expensive one, but yeah even the 100's on the field are in the $4000 + range. Damn, despite the announcers praising Mariota it's been all run for Oregon in the 1st half. If Mariota doesn't clean up his passing game in the 2nd half Florida will be in the game all game. Some nice defence from both sides so far, and quite a few mistakes by each offence.
  15. The gap between the 2nd and 3rd seed will be evident today as Florida gets waxed by Oregon. http://www.stubhub.com/college-football-playoff-tickets/2015-college-football-playoff-national-championship-arlington-at-t-stadium-1-12-2015-9110472/ Championship game. Right hand side, Hall of Fame Endzone Suite 220. My ticket is still waiting for me to buy it. ~ $45,000 US Peanuts.
  16. You're right, but I'd say close to 3/4 of the Bowl Games are between 2 plug teams. The last 1/4 has 2 teams that should play a decent game. To me, 3/4 or more of the Bowl games are "participant" games simply thrown in to give more teams a chance at playing in one. The NCAA can organize as many as they want, I'm still only going to watch 3-5 per year max anyways. I like this idea because it gives us 2 more knockout games between 2 top 6 teams with the season on the lines! Still though, I was never sure any playoff format would be brought forward so I'll take it as is.
  17. Disagree with both claims. Saints ain't the team they used to be. I've never liked them, but had no problem admitting their power when they had it. This year I agree with Magician: 1 and done.
  18. Bama Oregon would be massive. I'll be watching each game on the edge of my seat waiting for an upset in either one. 1 vs 2 in the country needs to happen.
  19. ^ Well, good educated guesses, it's confirmed: Alabama (1) vs Ohio State (4) Oregon (2) vs Florida State (3) Watched it live. I like the new playoff format for the Championship game. I can't wait for New Years Day!
  20. 1. Alabama 2. Oregon 3. FSU 4. Ohio State It's hard to argue with that. That's what I expect the top 4 teams to look like, so the selection committee will likely throw a curveball and sneak Baylor in, or keep TCU in 3rd. Ohio State with their 3rd stringer should be there, if they are bumped, and trouncing Wisconsin makes that hard to do, Meyer should at least get the Bear Bryant award. Selection is getting close. Too bad I don't get ESPN.
