Spencer What’s-His-Name is currently salivating & just chomping at the bit to return from the AHL & prove that his last 3-game stint in the NHL was no fluke, either.
The GMs & Rutherford need to be doing everything in their power to bring even more positive energy & vibes to this team for their play-off push.
The team has already proved that they are very easily motivated to play well infront of this call-up. So if it is cap issues preventing this - solve it!

Lots to criticize the officials for in this one. Wish they could liberally review any penalty call they wish - and just get it right.

WASH win the game on an ice surface that was somewhat tilted by the ineptitude of the whole team of zebras.
Canucks receiving - no luck or giftings.
Cant say the same thing for the Caps.

Backstrom’s stick was interfering with Demkos ability to make any play upon the puck.., and he made little attempt to extricate himself.
Should have been a whistle for goalie interference.

I’m going to believe that this Myers penalty is NOT legit,… because that’s the track record of these zebras so far.

Wow! Shots on goal would be super high for the Canucks if not for all of the blocked ones by the Caps.
Perhaps a few of those shots have caused some wear & tear or damage.
