there is a cat on my lap right now, but no
I go both ways with cats and dogs
just think its another silly Canuck distraction/marketing ploy
do you really think I'd jump on board if it was a kitten instead?
Bingo.
Sometimes the marketing is nauseating.
Just play hockey I don't need a Hallmark movie to get excited.

Am I in the minority here of folks who couldn’t care less about puppies and Canucks’ pets?
Maybe I’m just heartless, but do we really need all the pet focus? Even the Canucks calendars from Pharmasave are all about Canucks’ pets this year. I’ve collected those calendars for over 25 years, but I’m not putting down $12 or however much it is for pictures of puppies.
Let’s keep the focus on the team, and not let the fan focus go to the dogs.Nope.
It's honestly so stupid.
There's a steaming service for this called Disney.

Bolded above is flat out BS.
Quinn #1 D on almost any club.
OEL #1 D on most clubs.
Myers #3 D (#2 RD) ".
Poolman #4D (#3 RD) ".
I wish people would not respond to TSN and Buttons' click bait (especially if they believe it).
Poolman doesn't make Nashville.
People said it was clickbait last year too....

Homerism as it's finest ... lol
Myers #3 ... ridiculous
Poolman #4 ... beyond ridiculous
Come on! lol
Quinn is a #2
OEL is a #3 on our club ... borderline #2 elsewhere
@PLOGUE you nailed it!
Poolman doesn't even make Calgary and he's a number 4?
Stillman and Burroughs don't make it. Schenn is a maybe.
Honestly Myers wouldn't make Calgary with his contract. Skill wise he's a fine #4.

People said the exact same thing about Panarin. Now, the odds Kuz is as good as Panarin aren't high, but being the top player in the 2nd best league in the world is certainly intriguing. The eye test in his 4 games this preseason confirm his potential as a 1st line forward, in my opinion.
Sure, but not top tier. 60-80 points is FANTASTIC so is a top line player.
It's not top tier.

I consider Boeser, Pettey, Kuz, Podz, Miller, Bo all to be top tier players, drafted high or teams chased them..Now errmm..kick rocks.
Great optimism but how is a guy with 0 NHL games played top tier?
Who is in the top tier? He's as good as Ovi?
Yea they look deep but potentially an oversell.

Bananas previously $0.79/lb
Today $0.89/lb
12.7% uptick.
I don't believe any of the junk that gets published.

Hope he doesn't have something like mononucleosis.
"Under the weather" hit Myers too to start camp.
He invited Dieahrea Dan over for dinner.
Too much turkey and scotch.

Calgary had made it announced that they wanted a top 9 player , yet Milano failed to fill those role.
However, they got a pretty stacked DMAN group that bides our attention.
We have talents in our top 9 that warrant Hoglander a spot in the AHL if everyone is healthy. With Hoglander waiting for a chance and Karlsson surprising us in the preseason.
Should we make a trade with an enemy?
---
Canucks Acquire: Rasmus Andersson who can step into the Canucks Top 4 at a good cost, can help on the PK and most importantly help on the Right Side.
Flames Acquire: Connor Garland and a 2nd round pick in the 2023 draft.
---
Is this an overpay or underpay? Let me know - open to opinions
For Garland lol....pack your bags Connor.

Even OEL is feisty and demands accountability out there. He doesn’t shy away from the rough stuff and will go after the biggest guy on the ice if he has to. There’s a reason why he was the captain for Arizona, he’s a team first kind of guy and I love the leadership he has back there.
If we can add Phillipe Myers, not many people are going to want to mess with us infront of Demko.
The thing is that when you have enough of these players infused all over the line up, others are influenced and step up to the plate as well. Petey stepped up to Conor Timmins after injuring Garland. Pearson is also a guy who has developed a mean side to him since I’d say last year. Podkolzin has a lot of pushback as does Garland.
Garland has pushback and OEL is fiesty like a mosquito against a semi truck.

Also yes. Anyone that thinks we're going to improve our D without moving out one of Boeser/Garland ++ is dreaming. We'll either need their cap space to sign someone or their cap space (and them as assets) to trade for someone.
Naw.....people think the Canucks can get a Norris righty off waivers. Once Canucks property these players are unreal.
Remember when people thought Sven Baertschi wouldn't clear waivers? hahahaha

I had my fourth. Only effect I had was about 18 hours later I felt like I crashed into a wall. I finished laundry, then took a nap. Felt better in another 3 hours.
One of the mildest effects I've had since the first dose. Probably even milder than the first.
Nice maybe there's hope for me haha.
Glad it was the mildest one.

When Myers is healthy he does hit and one big one or two a game.Plus OEL hits big.
Myers would be so fun to run.
Don't get me wrong I could never catch him but in the old days those all skinny guys were so fun to cream.

I don't think that's fair. Players think twice when Schenn is on the ice, and Burroughs is willing and able. Not saying we are a bunch of brutes, but saying no one isn't fair to Schenn.
I don't think either guy is intimidating.
They deserve credit don't get me wrong but they aren't scary especially Burroughs.

With the addition of Stillman, thinking Rathbone may be a trading chip to be used.
I don't get the structure it's just weird.
OEL and Hughes are easy. Other than that it gets messy with a lot of question marks.
There's a lot of guys who couldn't make other NHL teams.

Reading Chicago fans opinions of him, he’s very physical though he’s also a bit dirty and occasionally crosses the line with his hits, especially his kneeing antics.
Wouldnt mind seeing him knee the Coilers a couple of times a year.
Fantastic.
I know nothing about him other than he is small.
The Caunucks d is not scary. There is absolutely no one that is physically intimidating so it will he nice to have some of that.
