Another thing about his production is he is playing on a very low scoring team, and he is 4th on team scoring so he is not just getting his points from other players he is genuinely creating offence.
Maybe our turn to get a late round gem
-
If we can even acquire just two of these guys It would be a step on the right direction.
I like the idea of going after Kaedan korczak, I doubt Vegas does a 1 for 1 for Hog but I would add a mid round pick to get it done honestly. Livingstone is also the other most realistic guy, hopefully he comes home. At the same time, asking him to step into top 4 could be a disaster waiting to happen.
As for Peeke I hear mixed reviews on him. I would like us to draft and develop another star Dman instead of trying to acquire one as always.

Horvat and Schenn for Lafrenière, 1st and a prospect.
Thats a terrible return imo.
late 1st and prospect failing to live up to expectations. If Schneider isn't in the deal I don't move Bo to NYR

Don't ban it, but not punish the hitter for following thru on a guy who will likely be looking the other way
-
I would do 1 for 1 for Hog or for Schenn and mid round pick, not both

All i have to say is if we can acquire a top 4 d man some how we could be something
-
Hog has been electric as of late, all year he has been generating chances but not finishing, hopefully they start going in for him now

I knew Joshua would be a fan fav, but I have been pleasantly surprised by his skill level. We have been truly missing a guy like him since Dorsett.

His contract is pretty decent, I like the basis of the idea, as much as I love Garland he isnt 6'6 lol

One thing I noticed in first two periods is how much more aggressive we are defending creating turnovers and limiting Seattles time on the puck, big difference in systems compared to Greens passive D.
I liked Joshuas game tonight type of guy we've truly missed since Dorsett.
Petey was Petey, he has the Swedish goatee now following his next evolution to Nazzy/Forsberg level
Kuzmenko looks legit, bout time we get a freeby that turns out, dont call him a 40g scorer but 20/20 looks realistic.
Pre-season is about practicing systems and getting chemistry, how your team progresses thru preseason is more important than results, see arizona last year

That Motte - Lammikko - Highmore line was pretty darn good. Can't believe they are all gone. I remember some games they were literally our best line.
Liked that line also but Motte and Highmore way to small to have together as a fourth line. I think Dakota Joshua becomes the next fan favourite here

Sorry but not sorry. He was a garbage player for us and was the same for the Coyotes. He should retire.
Lol he had a career year his first year and then had injury problems. He was awesome his first season

what Klimovich did last season is pretty underrated considering how young he was playing against pros.

He has had very solid numbers in junior so far, can never go wrong with a free 6'2 210 D prospect from the dub with solid production, maybe he sees an easier route to the league with a team like us versus potential x3 Cup champs

So take the Center and 2 of our 3 good penalty killers out of the line-up?
Bold strategy.
Can you read? I said rotate the 3 of them at 4 line RW....
-
Like to see Mac Highmore and Bailey as 4th line RW depending on what we're matching up against

Not good, on many levels. The Canucks are no longer a team players are attracted to. Crap team, crap media. Not good.
do you know how this works?

Ah, damn, I really wanted the Canucks to go after Graves. Felt like he would've been a great fit on the d corps here.
The price that New Jersey paid is a little lower than I expected.
The out of conference discount, would have been much harder for canucks to acquire

It doesn't make any sense to give up what it would take to bring in Bertuzzi. We'd have to give up 90A and we need centers and not wingers. Unless we're planning on trade ANOTHER first to bring in a player that will make us a little bit less mediocre is just pointless. We need homegrown talent, we need to keep our pick and forget about this 26-year-old. We need a guy to fill in for injures, Mason McTavish, Simon Edvinsson, Cole Sillinger, William Eklund or Brandt Clarke, not Tyler Bertuzzi, is the way to pave forward.
You ain't getting 9OA for a guy who played 9 games last year mate

I would offer Lind + OJ + Second
Lind is trending the right way despite putting up 0 points in 7 games @ NHL level he'll get another shot, and if anyone knows a thing or two about development paths its Det.
If anyone can get the most out of OJ it would be Det plus he would have lots of chances for ice time here.
Second is self explanatory.
Keep in mind Bertuzzi only played like 9 games this year

It seems when you take away the goonery and not have tolerance for hooking, slashing and grabbing and focus on the skill, players who may be smaller get a chance to showcase their actual skill set
yawn..
