  1. lmao, is this really true? I always had a feeling that Cody was kind of a pansy but c`mon. I almost feel bad for him

I guess I should say something about Schroeder... Hopefully he makes the team next year! We could use his offense and lack of milk drinking.

Something tells me that Schroeder is that guy who will always walk around with a bottle of Gatorade on him :P

But yes, I hope he makes the team as well, he can fill CoHo's role.

  2. Juuusst a suggestion cause I am a bit annoyed by those posts...

2370?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent> is what you see in the URL. Don't make a new post... JUST EDIT THE LAST PART TO 10000 (or some ridiculously high number)

10000 is what it should look like. Easier then posting a meaningless post.

There's no URL bar on the Canucks Mobile App. I was going to change that comment to something that wasn't meaningless but he quoted me so I would have looked like a tool.

  3. It's pretty clear that AV likes 2 scoring lines and 2 checking lines. So I don't see Schroeder as a 3rd line checking centre. How's Schroeder's face % anyways (offensive and defensive)?

I actually think MG is going to get a top 10 pick in this year's draft (CBJ, TO, or TB??) and go for a big centre with 2nd line potential.

Like Galchenyuk? Only problem is he's got 1st line potential.. :bigblush:

  4. They should really be put on the same line, we want guys like Schroeder and Rodin having chemistry as they move forward onto the big team

  5. is Schoreder physical? Can he play bigger than his small size?

Schroeder isn't physical per se, but he is very strong (one of the strongest in his draft combine) and is solid on the puck, he won't be throwing hits out there, but he won't be getting taken out much either. He's gotten much better defensively and is a good two way player.

  6. Rodin Schroedoer Kassian

That's Naslund Morrison Bertuzzi 2.0 for ya

I'd pit Jensen in there over Rodin, he has the laser of a wrist shot and is more like Naslund or Hossa than Bertuzzi or other power forwards. Also that end to ender he scored was real Nazzy-esque. Wait until theyre all together, it'll be so awesome.

  7. Could someone please clear something up for me? I've spent a reasonable amount of time going through the proposals section recently and in a lot of them I'm seeing Jordan's name on the way out. Why is that? Why are so many people interested in seeing him go?

In my eye, we have a player who is extremely driven and even more talented. He's a bit short but talented and powerful enough to overcome that. He's really starting to make a name for himself on the farm and will more than likely get the next call up if any of our top six goes down. That isn't the sort of player I would want to give up. These same people who are more than willing to give him up would likely hate to give up a 1st rounder. Schroeder is about as good a prospect as you can hope for in a late first round choice. Why throw him away in favour of a gamble? I just don't get it....

They've replaced Hodgson with Schroeder in proposals because they've realized just how valuable CoHo is to us. Don't worry, they'll soon see that Schroeder is just as valuable, then they'll move onto some other prospect to be their trade proposal whipping boy.

  8. Alright, so it sounds like when we question his scoring aptitude during games, he nets two! Lets keep it up! emot-parrot.gif

PS: I'm really happy that Schroeder has worked on his defensive game, it will just make it that much easier to integrate him into our system when he's ready to make the team. icon_cheesygrin.gif

  9. Isn't Jensen supposedly a softy? I read that he uses his size to his advantage offensively, but his size isn't much of a factor on defense. I suppose that can be learned in a couple years time, though. I see Jensen on the third line like a Bernier on the 3rd line, whereas Rodin could be more like a Hansen. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately, who knows what tickles your fancy) Hodgson would be a Wellwood.

No, someone posting in the original Jensen draft pick thread lives in Oshawa and said that he is quite a bit more physical then the Scouting Agent said.
