All it takes is a few calls (or no calls) each game to skew the percentages of one team winning...
Close your eyes if u want - but for me being a Canuck fan is that I root for triumph even though the league is out to get us.

If Kassian didn't have some question marks... if his development into a top-6 player was sure thing... well, he simply would not have been available.
Gillis took the risk, and shipped out a good young player who was rocking the boat. Calculated risk that so far (let's be honest) has not worked out in our favor. However, this season is showing that in the long run, we may end up with the better player.

Lu is not the only one to meltdown in playoff games. Seems to me our whole team has had their struggles in the playoffs.
U never saw him play when he first got here? Or before?
I'm a Lu fan, but he is like a first line player that still has it. He is awesome but not stealing games to the extent he used to. 2011 no... I don't think he had to steal many games, the team was on fire still... At least for first half - and then didn't he have an injury to his groin again? Can't recall... But I do know Schneider was considered better by management that year.... So make your own decisions but you can't ignore that info
Like Gretzky was compared to himself... he is bad now only compared to what he used to play like.

Serious groin injury coincided with the start of his fall... From stealing playoff games to blowing up in big ones... This is not a good sign...
It happens now cause that was always going to be the first thing to go - after that injury how well his groin stood up determines his effectiveness and longevity
He is still a top goaltender but he was on another plane of existence before that groin injury

If a legit centre could ever be found - Schroeder could ever stay healthy...
Playing with Richardson would hold back anyone... If kass is ever going to be a legit 3rd line player he needs a better centre. Let alone becoming more than that... Baby steps here...
This was schroeders year - hit by puck breaks ankle, and rushed back so was susceptible to more serious injury... Does anyone know wtf is going on with him?
Zach needs a centre like schr... Until then don't get too excited. Zach can't make a line, he is a complement player... And potentially still a really good one

DS is coming back this year.
For all of you who lament about his goal scoring, he was always a mid-20 to mid-30 scorer
(ok, maybe high 20s to high 30s)
But he is on pace to be at least mid 20s, which is what you expect OUT OF A PLAYMAKER!!!!
