  1. City where the games will be played:

    Brasilia: Capital of Brazil

-good: large city, easy to go. stable weather (hot and dry)...

-bad: our politics, the dry weather can be a problem for some people...

    Belo Horizonte:

-good: good and mild weather, nice people, very hot girls, tons of variety of cheese and caipirinha (Brazilian vodka)

-bad: it´s a city where you can only arrive there from Miami/USA or Lisbon/Portugal, wierd portuguese accent (they say "train" for everything!)

    São Paulo:

-good: Biggest city in Latin America (if you need anything you will find in São Paulo), the only city where NFL is as popular as European Football

-bad: polution, traffic jamms, airplane traffic (too many airplanes for few airports), violence (at some places), rain (floods everything)

    Rio de Janeiro:

-good: everybody wants go there and it´s a city where everybody likes...

    -bad: violence...

    Salvador:

-good: Brazilian Jamaica (very relaxed people), beaches, hot and sunny weather all the year, many flights from Europe and USA

-bad: they´re still building their train system, you might use your own airplane...

    Recife:

-good: beaches, HUGE variety of foods you´ll only find there, friendly people, weather (hot and sunny), only 6 hours flight from Europe (5 if you go via Portugal)

-bad: car traffic (some version of Need for Speed), sharks killing people around the beaches...

    Fortaleza:

-good: beaches, HUGE variety of foods you´ll only find there, friendly people, weather (hot and sunny), only 6 hours flight from Europe (5 if you go via Portugal), eat shrimp and lobster for less than 5 dollars

-bad: understand the local culture might take some time to understand, car traffic...

    Manaus:

-good: I was born in Manaus! if you like jungle and exotic foods and juices and soft drinks that´s your city!

-bad: it´s hot, hot hot hot (temperatures easly reach 43 Celsius with 99%moisture)! car traffic (inspired in NASCAR races).

    Cuiaba:

-good: if you like a tropical version of Alabama or Texas that´s your city. it´s the only city where farmers literaly rule the city and state (Mato Grosso)

-bad: it´s hot, hot hot hot!!! bring your head shield, you WILL need one!

    Porto Alegre:

-good: very hot girls (forget Rio, Porto Alegre it´s THE CITY toget girls in Brazil), nice and stable weather, city surounded by many military bases, well equiped infraesctructure....

-bad: imagine a Texan person but 300% more regionalist. they consider the state where Porto Alegre is located (Rio Grande do Sul) should be an independent nation...

    Curitiba:

-good: you can speak, Russian, Italian, Polish, Japanese and people will understand you (due to the immigrants and their colonies)

-bad: incredibly unstable weather (goes from 35 Celsius to 0 Celsius in less than 4 hours!), arrogant people (you can die in front of them and they WILL ignore you completely)

    Natal:

-Good: beaches, HUGE variety of foods you´ll only find there, friendly people, weather (hot and sunny), only 6 hours flight from Europe (5 if you go via Portugal), eat shrimp and lobster for less than 5 dollars

  3. Speak for yourself, I am smarter than a monkey....and TRR.

no. what I want to say is I´m not consider the human specie superior than a monkey just because we have tecnology and they don´t...

Imagine that. when you look back in time you might consider people from the year 1500 stupid and dummy just because for them the earth was flat. but for them it was a true fact since they didn´t have tecnology to prove the opposite...

Imagine now 1000 years in the future. people colonizing planets on solar system and using nuclear energy safely, living more, longer and exploring more. they will look at us and will say "they used coal to produce energy? what stupid people!"

The evolution happens slowly, second by second. our body now is resistant to virus but 1500 years ago a simple flu could kill an entire village or town. but since we introduced the modern medicine our body became resistant to many diseases.

I believe the human is evolving second by second...

  4. Solid science right there. I really like the part about the closer the DNA the more successful the mating process.

    Who TF is Eva?

    ops!

Eva is Eve in portuguese (Adam and Eve/ Adão e Eva)

Science explain what, how and the logic behind god´s choice. I will not stand on a church listening a guy telling me that by simple "magic" something was created and now we have everything...

just like when you build something I believe that God had a very hard task to work on. Imagine, how He created that?

Science explain how and sometimes why. I also believe in Evolution, I´m not better or smarter than a monkey, so humans aren´t better than monkeys. we should be proud that they evolved and so here we are. Imagine if Monkeys simply didn´t evolve?

  5. just see this point of view:

    The bible says:

"in the beggining there was dark, then God was unhappy with this, so He created the light"

    Beggining=Time

    Darkness=Dark Matter or Empty Space

He created the light=Big Bang (The Big Bang was a gigantic flash of light and energy)

"God created the world in 6 days and reserved 1 for his rest"

What´s the Universe estimated age? almost 14 Billion Earth Years? ok, divide by 7 and for God each day (for Him) is equivalent of 2 Billion Earth Years

The bible didn´t refer as "days" like "Earth Days", in Mars the day has 25 hours, so for an Eternal creature the time is diferent, one day for us can be 1 second for Him...

"God created Adam, Eva and other creatures. God created Eva using Adam´s rib..."

If Eva is made from Adam´s rib it means Eva is a modified clone of Adam sugesting that at some point God managed how master this process. so if Eva is a clone God probably found much easier do this than create 2 original beings from blueprints...

and since they hold almost the same DNA they can reproduce very fast, showing that the nature adapted by cloning each other to populate the planet faster...

I believe in God but I also believe in Science. both can walk together and Science explain how God did everything...

  6. Sorry if you've addressed this before, but how did you end up a dortmund fan? As a fan with unconventional allegiances, I'm always eager to hear others' stories.

"unconventional allegiances"? sure! you born in São Paulo state and support Cruzeiro (a team from Minas Gerais state). it´s basically the same thing if you born in Toronto and support the Canucks (or vice-versa)...

  7. after seeing Dana White wearing a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey I can´t take this guy seriously...I hope one day I can show him, the "real force" of the mighty Canucks Jersey. I bet he wouldn´t expect see this in Brazil :)

  8. ok. I saw the dummest thing a man can do...

I was at gym doing my exercises when I saw a "dude" punching a Fire Extinguisher to "impress" a girl...

but not only once or twice, the creature punched 3 times!

somebody please tell me why the hell on earth a man punch a pressurised bottle?

  9. things I do when I go to the gym:

    1) exercises with military discipline (exercise with 30 seconds interval, then repeat this more 3 times and proceed to the next one). doing this I finish faster and everyone can use the equipment...

    2) eat chocolate or bacon during the intervals happy because I know I will not gain even a single kilo doing this. everyone look at me as if they were dying of starvation or something...

    3) look at the hot girls and avoid the ugly ones...

    4) after the exercises drink something isotonic (Gatorade, Powerade etc)

    5) check how many kilos I lost doing this and eat more to recover this weight...

  10. some videos. the audio is in portuguese but it´s cool see old airplanes

shows the international airport on my city, Curitiba. changed a lot since them...

Aerovias Real showing it´s Lockheed Super Constellation.

rare video of Aerovias Real flying from Buenos Aires to Miami with stops in Congonhas Airport at São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Caracas. the flight was done using the Lockheed Super Constellation. nice to see the old Congonhas Airport.

  11. This is what is so intriguing about Lelo. He is so far applying his capoeira based fighting style very successfully to mma, something previously unheard of in the long history of vale tudo fighting in Brazil. The fight community is paying close attention to to see how he fairs against world class comp in Bellator. If you look at the clip I posted at the top of the page, it sure is exciting!

I did :) but let´s see his progress, he must fight another Brazilian to show his improvement because Brazilians fighters know the capoeira style. fight with a guy from a country not used with capoeira is diferent, a guy from USA doesn´t know how capoeira works so it´s easy surprise him.

  12. capoeira is a genuine Brazilian fighting style and is very respected here. but require too many movements so it means you can´t stop during the fight. it can be really exaustive. this is why this style isn´t much used on MMA...

Silva is a nice guy. but I´m worried about these fights, he always "jump in" on every challenge. what happens if one day he looses against a "not soo strong" rival?
