      because companies want you to commit to their app, it's a brand loyalty thing, it's also harder to use ad blockers in apps

       

      i feel like you probably would use the app since you're trying to do what it's used for right now

      Just get the app, it will take 3 seconds. Soon you'll save much more than 3 seconds every time you don't have to open your browser when you want to listen to hockey.
