I registered online last April 12 for booking and yesterday afternoon I got a message that I can book. So today I was able to get a shot (Moderna). My sister & husband & so as my friend registered a week earlier than I am and they haven't got a response yet to book. I'm 39 years old & they're all older than me and they're still waiting. They're like asking me now how I was able to get one to which my answer is I don't know. I'm thankful that I got it but the response by the govt to how to distribute the vaccine to regular folks is a little disorganized. My parents who are both close 70 years old are getting theirs on May 6

Got tested positive last Sunday but symptoms started showing up Saturday Night. Been getting muscle aches, lack of taste & smell, dry coughing. But, its the fever that keeps popping up everyday that i'm having difficulty with. Mornings i'll feel ok but when it hits the late afternoon i'd get chills & fever Right now i'm upset at my father because he didn't disclose to me & my mother that he got sick. Only when my mother started showing symptoms that he got forced to do the test so all 3 of us tested positive. Now he's back to normal & working while me & my mom are struggling This ain't like a flu that's for sure

I'm a courier driver so my work is considered an essential service. Thankfully, the business hasn't really slowed down that much so I get my 40+ hours no problem. Still, I feel bad for the people that got laid off & thankful that I have a job at this time. I have no rent or mortgage pay to deal with so that's a plus also
