Let's go boys.
We're already in their heads and if we push HARD here, they will collapse.
Play the best game you've ever played tonight.

Blow this one open boys

Real question if we push game 7 and Demko won game 6 but marky is now fully healthy. Who starts?
Demko.
Too much pressure on Marky.

Sutter lead the team in pk ice time tonight - I thought he was good - (I thought the trio + Beagle, Motte were excellent).
I think momentum shifted when Green shorrtened the bench - Gaudette/Roussel were struggling imo - getting pinned in frequently.
I don't think I'd want to see the lineup short a veteran center under the circumstances.
Good points, I didn't get to watch the entire game, just bits of it.
I just feel MacEwan would have a positive impact, perhaps in for Gaudette?

Why not? Mac will throw the body and hurt out there. Only thing I’d feel bad about Is if he caught a beating from Reaves.
I feel the same.
Sutter plays with heart but he can be too slow sometimes.
Seems to make our 4th line ineffective.

What do you guys think about switching Sutter for MacEwen?

At this point, run with Demko. He's fresh.
Let him be the savior of this series. No matter what happens, this is valuable experience for our future #1.
Vegas is getting a bit nervous. They should have won this game, but they couldn't beat Demko.
This is all about momentum now.
Boys, you need to come out HARD next game, and then watch Vegas collapse.
If we force a game 7, we win this series.

Sorry, nope, in 2011 and for a few years after we were by far the best team in the league but we weren’t the best playoff team, we are headed down that same road. We may have some great regular season success by we are far far away from a cup without some serious changes.
Yes, there will be improvements to the team.
I should have said core.
I didn't mean to imply that this exact team will win us cups down the road.

We’ve had 50 years of getting better and yet here we are, the recipe for winning the cup has always been beating down the other team, we need a coach that can cook or face another 50 years of “we’re exceeding expectations”. Sorry, I expected the cup long ago.
I understand your frustration but we haven't entered our cup window yet.
We will have many chances at the Cup.
In fact, I think we're going to win it several times with this team.

No matter what happens next, we exceeded expectations.
Calgary and Toronto were supposed to be far ahead of us in their rebuilds, but look, we're the only Canadian team left standing.
Two exciting series of hockey that we haven't experienced for 5 years.
Not to mention that we knocked out the Stanley Cup champions...
The future is bright people. Let's stop pretending that we were legitimate contenders for the Cup. It's been fun, but that was never the case.
Pettersson, Hughes, and Horvat have proven that they are big time players for us, and they're not even fully developed yet.
I'm thankful for what I got to experience here. All of those painful years were worth it.
Remember, we only get better from here.

Nah, the goals the bottom 6 pot are nice, but if we rely on that to win us game we may as well just go home. Our top guys need to be our top guys. 0/7 on the powerplay isn't going to get it done if you right away need Motte to score 4th line goals.
I agree, the power play is crucial, but we won't win this series unless all lines are scoring.
-
We need scoring from our bottom 6. Plain and simple. Switch things up if necessary.

Does he even exist?
He needs to throw his weight around and forecheck hard. We need him in this one

0/7 power plays guys...
Focus on that and we can win the series. The Blues are going to play rough, so utilize that, draw penalties, keep things simple, and get as many quality shots on net as possible.
If we can chase Allen out of the net, we win the series.

I didn't get to watch the entire game but it looks like Bo took charge.
Love it man.
Let's go Nucks!

Haven't felt this way in a long time. 5 years of pain and it was so worth it.
I'm so happy Tanev got that goal. He was our anchor back there. Played excellent all night. So happy for him.
The team looked great, Marky let in softies but the boys won it for him. Love the story in that.
Guys that was just so f%$^$% epic. I'm so happy for all of us here tonight

Assuming all three players sub in...
Pettersson - Miller - Toffoli
Eriksson - Horvat - Boeser
Pearson - Sutter - Virtanen
Ferland - Beagle - MacEwan
Worth a try.

Tanev was the player I noticed the most in Game 1.
-
Sure could have used Tree in this series

Jake needs to play in game 2.
He's built for playoff hockey and I firmly believe he is our spark plug.
We were flying out there. Minny played extremely well defensively. They smothered us, but eventually they will break here.
Everyone step up.
Pettersson - Miller - Boeser
Pearson - Horvat - Toffoli
Roussel - Gaudette - Virtanen
Motte - Beagle - Ferland
-
Hellebuyck completely robbed us all game.
I wasn't too impressed with our bottom six tonight, I'd say there's room for Jake in Game 1.

Jake will get his chance.
I've believed in the guy since we drafted him, but if he's not ready to play then I'm glad he's getting the seat.
Be ready for your opportunity Tuna because you have so much potential to do damage in the playoffs.
We all want to see it.

Beautiful post. I want us all to live in a world where we're all kind to each other by default.
The actions we make when we are young are normal and a part of our growing process to that point of unconditional kindness.
I will argue too, that we need to be a bit rash to eachother early on or we will never grow the thick skin necessary to handle everyday discussion. I'm not kidding.
I see the new generations coming up, and they are now being shamed upon any instance of ridicule or even just silly behavior. That is also not a good thing either.
This turns youth into authoritarians, as we're starting to see these days.
I guess the point is we always want to head in a seemingly better direction, but it is possible we go too far.

Cool idea, but I highly doubt they will deliver on this.
Could set them up for failure down the road.
[PGT] Vancouver Canucks at Vegas Golden Knights | Sept. 04, 2020 | Golden Knights win series 4-3

The fact this team made it this far is unbelievable.
We can see the future we have in our young guys. They got so much experience out of these playoffs, we're going to take a bigger step next season (which is right around the corner guys).
What Demko did to get us to a 1 goal game 7 is incredible. He's our #1 starter in a season or two. Guaranteed.
Vegas will probably win the cup, they're extremely dominant, and to think that if we had scored a couple we probably would have won, which is absolutely insane.
I am more than satisfied with these playoffs, I love this team, and I can't wait to see how we look next year with new ELC's making the team and perhaps some trades.
