Chris19
The storm that brought heavy snow this weekend to Greater Vancouver has moved to the southeast. Tonight colder air will move down the valley again keeping temperatures below the freezing mark. Our next storm will come out of the Gulf of Alaska and down the BC coast to bring us another round of heavy snow starting near midnight on Tuesday night (or early Wednesday morning). Snow, heavy at times, will continue all day on Wednesday and will likely ease off on Wednesday night. Estimated accumulations will be between 15 and 25 cm. We may see a possible flurry or two on Christmas Day but it should be mostly dry. Friday our next storm comes in to bring wind, heavy snow, and then a change over to rain. Saturday will likely be showery but colder air and more snow likely by late Sunday or Monday. The long range forecast for next week looks to be more of the same as last week: COLD and MORE snow. BuckyHermit
Even the Ducks' radio guys on AM 830 are astonished by the snow. Before you say, "But it's California people" in a really whiny voice, keep in mind that they were just in Edmonton a few days ago, where it was -30 C. They're going to Calgary to play tomorrow night too. Fun. Hope their flight doesn't get delayed/canceled. Wonder what happens to the game if a team is a no-show because of weather?

BuckyHermit
17 player on the Duck team is Canadians. The cold is nothing for them. Reminds me of the 2007 Finals, when people were calling the Senators "Canada's Team" when the Ducks had (or have? dunno if they still do) the most % of Canadian players out of all NHL teams. BuckyHermit
Look like it going to be a long night for the Ducks. Not if Corey Perry wakes the **** up... Seriously, he's sleepwalking out there. Getz, Kunie and Ryan are playing well, but Perry's just floating out there tonight.
