Lets say Schneider becomes the 3rd best goalie in the NHL whereas Luongo is around #5. (theoretical rankings) Would you rather have 5th place goaltending and assets like Brett Connolly + 1st. Most people that pick Schnieder also see his non 40 year contract and $3 million price tag as the attractive feature. If we take that away do the Schnieder supporters still think that way? It's actually pro Lunongo in a way Schnieder hater.Regarding the topic I chose Schnieder cause I feel he's better, but it's tough and unknown, I really struggled with it.I guess it comes down to the length of that contract. If it's 2-3 years with Schnieder it might be a better bet. If it was the full length of the contract you'd be getting a way better deal with Schnieder age wise as he would actually be playing and still youngish at then end.
