crosbyheadshot
Except that we beat all the best teams this season on top of that. We wouldnt be where we were if we only beat our own division and then played .500 hockey against the rest of the league.
DrWhom
Is there any place to look at team points against specific divisions? I would be curious to see actual facts on this rather than...well rather than this thread.
DrWhom
The Canucks play equally well against all teams in all divisions and conferences. They are not #1 because they play Colorado and Edmonton all the time. The Canucks have a solid winning record against all divisions exept Atlantic where they are even, although they play seldom there and this year lost twice very early (to Pens and Rags) in the season before they woke up. So they are certainly not PT champs because of any weak division. v-West 40-16-8 v-East 11-6-1 v-NW 18-5-1 v-PAC 11-5-4 v-CEN 11-6-3 v-ATL 2-2-1 v-NE 6-2-0 v-SE 3-2-
crosbyheadshot
And for comparison: NY Rangers v-CEN 3-3-0 v-NW 3-2-0 v-PAC 4-1-2 NJ Devils v-NW 2-4-0 Boston B's v-NW 2-3-0 Nuff said about weak division padding the points total
bobopan
If someone had dare say this during the regular season they would of been lambasted on here, but its true there's no denying it. The record is inflated a bit obviously due to the weak division.
