the White Sheet
Hello CDC, Please help My best friend and teammate broke his neck last week, on a simple hockey play. He is an amazing gentle man, father of two fantastic young children, and a loving husband. It has been one week and his situation is very critical. Please spread awareness, any support is appreciated. http://www.ctvbc.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20120428/bc_hockey_day_paralyzed_120428/20120428/?hub=BritishColumbiaHome http://www.RichardMorrisonfund.org http://richardmorrisonfund.org/media/
hockeyville88
I heard about that It is so sad what happened. I respect people who are able to play hockey into their 40's and 50's and even beyond. I hope that I'm able to do the same as I get older. You just never expect anything like this to happen in a harmless game of pickup hockey. It scared me because I'm a goalie and so I frequently have players tripping over my leg pad and falling either into the net or into the end boards. Of course no harm is ever meant but with such a fast game sometimes we can't control what happens. Best wishes to your friend, his family, and to you and your teammates that you are all able to recover from this
