Kovalev, who played in 14 games with the Florida Panthers this season, walks away with 430 goals and 599 assists in 1,316 regular season games. The 40-year-old, who won the Stanley Cup with the New York Rangers in 1994, also played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators. Kovalev has already confirmed his presence for the Classique des Étoiles l'Équipeur, which is a charity All-Star game this Sunday at the Bell Centre with part of the proceeds going to the Montreal Canadiens Alumni and the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation.
