As fans we can not wrap it around out heads that we are not being paid to come up with this stuff. As far as I have concluded over the years, fans can skate faster, shoot better, handle the puck better, manage a team better, and coach a team better than the guys who actually get paid to do the job. Where is the justice in this.

Well, it's very simple, we are merely fans, and don't know crap. If we did, we would not be trying to bring in all of these players who are UFA at the end of the season, there is the the elephant in the room, namely the white elephant called the salary cap. Also the NHL's answer to support the smaller markets is along the lines of steal from Peter to give to Paul. Thus if a team has a powerful marketing structure, the powers that be, otherwise the NHL board of Directors will grab those excess funds from one team and give them to another. Does this make the owner of the team who has to shell out his profits to support teams that can't cut it, feel happy and pleased as can be about it. It's generated income, by team support. Yet some NHL teams will always be on the fringe because they don't care for the simple reason, they survive on the handouts for the wealthier teams.

My point is starting rumors and making speculation on how great if we had that forward or that defense player, or that goalkeeper. It has been stated in clear plain English a couple of years ago that the Vancouver Canucks were no longer going to go ballistic to make the playoffs, it was crystal clear that said team was going with a youth movement, and we have so much talent in Utica that it is amazing depth structure. We just need these players to work to get muscle strength, and build resistance,, maintain and hone their skills. It is our jobs to provide them with moral support. Negative jibes are not supportive.
