Nicklas Bo Hunter Posted March 3, 2014 Share Posted March 3, 2014 reports had the kesler trade as being Sutter, Despres, 1st round pick, 3rd round pick with another player In the trade. so this is what I am thinking To van: Sutter, Despres, Bennet, 1st round pick, 3rd round pick Sutter- Basically a 3rd center. Horvat will play the number two role. Despres- going to be a top 4 D man on any team. Bennet- future top 6 forward who can play both LW and RW 1st round pick- realistically a 27- 29 overall pick. If we are lucky we can pick up Ho-Sang as a steal. 3rd round pick- pretty much just there to sweeten the pot. I have been talking to Pitts fans and they said they heard Bennet was the other player involved. Not saying its true but it does make sense. His stats are not that great either in AHL or NHL, where he plays on Penguins top 6 with Malkin or Crosby. Also its not like he had great stats in College either so I am not sure if he will ever turn into a legit scorer in the NHL. Seems like too much of a risk to me especially with his injury history as well. Can someone who has seen him play comment on his potential?
