Gretzky_Sedins Posted June 26, 2014 Share Posted June 26, 2014 Trades To Canucks- 1st overall pick, 10th overall pick, 24th overall pick, Rakell To Florida- Theadore, Tanev, Etem ,6th overall pick To Anaheim- Kesler, Higgins,Jimmy Hayes ,3rd round pick (Van), Fla 3rd round pick Why we do it: We do this so we can get the 1st overall pick and 2 other 1st round draft pick, stocks up the cupboard. and we get a young high potential centre in Rakell. Why Florida Does it: they get 2 top 4 Future D-men, a winger to compliment their centres and with the 6th overall pick they can pick Ehlers another winger to compliment their boat load of centers Why Anaheim Does it: They get a 2nd line two way centre, higgins who has chemistry with Kesler and can play 2nd line or the 3rd line with jimmy hayes they have a big 6'6 221 pound right winger that can play the 3rd or fourth line and they can develop him since he is only 24 years old, adds much needed depth. At the Draft we pick: 1st overall- Sam Reinhart 10th overall- Fleury/Virtanen 24th overall- Joshua Ho-Sang or BPA We Sign Stasny Stralman Miller (only 2 years and only if he wants to come to canada) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

No thanks. well you get Reinhart a future #1 line centre, Hayden Fleury a top 4 d-man OR Virtanen future top 6 forward, Ho-sang could become a top six Forward or Top 9 or the BPA could become a great 3rd liner and occasionally a good 2nd liner, Rakell (who i just added) can become a future top 6. so with this trade our future is set with all the other prospects and future free agency we are in a really good position. A lot of guessing though. Reinhart seems like a sure tging but Fleury/Virtanen and Ho Sang could bust. If were getting rid of 3 guys we need some more insurances than that.
