I think this lineup could win a  7 game series. And only get better for the next several years as the youth grows. 

 

I also wonder when Chicago realizes its time to tear it down if Crawford becomes available??? He would be my pick to bring Demko in under the wing of.

 

 

 

I agree next year I’m hoping this team will start trending upwards. I’m hoping the canucks will throw big money at Tavares, Kane and Carlson. Bring in some fresh faces to replace the ones traded away

 

 In a perfect world I hope the canucks will sign gudbranson but there’s been no talks so it unlikely. Kane will be looking for 6x6 and tryamkin has 2 more years in the khl

It appears Dermott has raised his value this season so that deal would probably need to be reworked.

 

As for filling needs both would be beneficial to our prospect line. Granlund is currently playing RW but can play any forward position. Acquiring Kapanen gives us 4 young right wingers to battle it out for playing time while Lind and Lockwood develop

 

Dermott is a close to ready LHD. Strong two way game with good possession stats. I've been interested in him for awhile but sadly it looks like the leafs think he's ready for top 4 duties sooner than later.

 

Neither is a right handed defensemen which is our biggest need. Sadly if we want a blue chip RHD we'll likely have to draft our own
