He has only 13 goals on the season. Dakota freaking Joshua has 9 goals on the 4th line.

He doesn’t drive the play and now has a brutal shot. He was supposed to be a goal scorer.

His point production is not indicative of great play. The eye test would tell you that his assist were mostly related to meaningless and not game changing goals.

Brock is also a brutal -19 worst on the team.

Sorry but I’m so done with this guy.

We are definitely too hard on Boeser. We all expect him to be a goal scorer because we've seen what he was capable of in the past and so it's very frustrating when he isn't. His lack of goal scoring this year is concerning. But, it's also unfair to dismiss his assists.

He sits behind only Hughes, Pettersson, and Miller on the team in assists and tied for 29th on the league amongst wingers (~80th ranked among all players). He is on pace for 56 points which is upper 1/3 second line production. He's currently ranked 60th among forwards in salary cap and as such is being paid closer to bottom end 1st liner. He is not quite playing up to his contract, but he is not being grossly overpaid either for his production this year. At 1M less per year his salary cap hit would line up exactly with his points total in ranking among forwards.
