Holl couldn’t hack it in the top 6 when push came to shove for a horrible defensive team. cole is for sure a stop gap, but you know what your getting for a short term. Not the best years of free agents this year. Keep some of the cap space and weaponize it

Cole was playing 19 and a half minutes last year on Tampa bay. Hardly a 6th.

He had a bit of a tough adjustment on the devils for sure. I am however a big fan of Timo. Guy plays with heart and tenacity. Very strong skater and know how to finish his checks. He put up very strong numbers on a bad Sharks team. I think Meier will play to this contract, with the cap going up as well. Definitely more noticeable each shift than PLD.

I’m scared, anxious and a little excited. Knowing our history of disappointment. I’m not expecting anything of note to happen haha

Not that we need him to completely replace that element, but we do want people to finish checks. My buddy is a wings fan and he says he turns it over a lot, but that can be coached out hopefully. His age is good, seems to be injured a bit if my memory can recall correctly, didn’t he miss a decent chunk last year? I’ll reserve judgment until I see more of him, but I think you hit the nail right one the head that I think this hurts our tank a bit. But oh well, better to make sure you get the player you want

I really like pretty well every move JR and PA have done until today, besides the dickenson one but that was a worthwhile gamble that I can understand. I thought they did great with the horvat trade, got a third for hamonic, flipping stillman for a prospect. That kravstov one as well.

I unfortunately don’t think it’s Boeser, maybe in the off season. But he is looking like a bystander out there lately. Picking up some assists because we score plenty goals. As much as I’d like him to be traded, for his sake and the Canucks (I do think a change of scenery will be great for him). His value is at an all time low I’d say, and he is getting too much money. I love Boes and I really wish him all the best, too bad he’s had such hard luck to start his career. Great person

This is a move that should make all fans happy, management is doing exactly what they said they would do. Target cheap, talented, under achieving prospects to restock their prospect pool. Lockwood is decent and like his battle, but we have plenty of players like him to fill that potential role. A 7th rounder? That’s Pennies , easily recoverable. Kravstov might turn into nothing, but he also has a wayyyyy higher ceiling then Lockwood. These are the types of moves I like to see. Bring him over to a team with a few Russians will only help him acclimate better and get a true shot!! loving this managements moves so far. Hopefully have a few deals up their sleeves to help the tank and strengthen our retool/rebuild. schenn, Boeser, Garland potentially. Let’s go Bedard huntin
