This nuke reactor stuff is being hyped up wayyyyyy too much. They only evacuated them like 2miles. if there was a real danger for a thermonuclear meltdown people would be moved much further... the explosion could reach very very far.

It was really cold outside today, Teeth chattering, unable to complete my thoughts - the like.

They're unprepared because they never expect the weather to go below -6/-7. The magnesium based salt they use is useless past -6/-7. After that they start throwing down sand/sawdust but people dont like that crap on their tires.

My grandfather flew for the RAF and flew Lancaster raids over Europe for much of the war. He lost many of his friends and essentially half squadrons were wiped out every night. He commemorates this day to his friends who did not return.
