I have always wondered this too. Anybody know where exactly to enter the building from?

Thunderbird Arena's North side entrance (directly across the street from the Thunderbird parkade). Take a left through the doors just past the vending machines... you should end up at an ice rink. Turn right and head all the way to the doors at the end of the hallway... If those are locked, try the ones directly below it on the lower floor. That's how I used to sneak in...

When all else fails and you just want a little bit of a meet/photo op, you can catch them walking back to their cars in the parkade.

Hey there, I corrected your spelling mistake you made. I hope your school papers are not incorrect like that, otherwise you won't be graduating from UBC.

Cheers,
B

RIP to the BEST pound for pound fighter the NHL has ever seen. Will be missed.

In Canada we use both actually.. "practice" is noun, and "practise" is a verb.

As in "you need to practise your English" vs "the doctors practice"

I was talking only about the verb since that was what was used. Because in America they the c for both but we separate the two

like others have said, "practise" (verb) is correct...like "advise" (verb) vs. "advice" (noun)...

idk what the american variation is...i probably don't need to at ubc anyways...

In previous years I would just roll into the thunderbird between 11am and 1 pm-ish. This time of year there are always roster players skating on the small rink, even if it isn't a formal practice.
It's usually a good place to see prospects and guys who are on a pro tryout, as well as guys from other teams who summer in the greater vancouver area.
sweeeeet.
Sig too big. Please don't put videos in your sig.

Is the team allowed to practice and train together if there is a lockout?

I was like 30 feet away. Wish I had known. Would have sneaked out of my class to go and see them play. Was it an open practice?

If you look at the photo you can see that their the only ones inside the arena. My bet is it was a closed practice.
