This league is likely going to be over as of next week, we have all these lazy non existent GMs who are going to have to re-sign free agents and they will sign no one, because they are too fri kin lazy to go online, and then half of the teams here will be under rosters having guys rated 55 playing in their top 6 because they have no other players available.

Thanks for ruining this league.

Worst part is, half of the people this is directed to will never read it because they don't visit the forum.

I honestly say we should just fire all the inactive teams and let the CPU run them. At least they will participate that way.

So to anyone wanting to join this league, we have about 15 teams available; take your pick!

Just been hired as Calgary AGM

PSN - jhari09

After reading last few pages of this thread this league looks to be having some troubles.

But I will try to play my part in getting it back on track. Once I get accepted in I would like to possibly get in some trades or at least negotiations prior to the deadline.

Anyways, the worst is over. There's a few GMs that need replacing and a few that need to re-request, but I still think everyone who is committing to this league has to be either able to do 20 minutes a day or be aware that they're going to miss out on setting their lines. We're not going to have trade problems anymore since they'll be 1-1 trades and done on PSN. As long as people have heads up, a schedule that says 'Playoffs over weekend, draft day Monday, FA signings Tuesday, 2013-2014 starts Wednesday, etcetc then people will be fine. For now, we're erratically changing our sim periods and people don't know when to be on. Let's get a schedule firm and then we should be free and clear.

Draft: Monday night

re-sign/Fa: tuesday-Friday

Re-sign has to be several days so guys like Getzlaf and Perry don't accedentally become free agents cause the Anaheim GM couldn't re-sign his players on the one day.

That way Seasons last from Saturday-Sunday of the next week.

Every year will be 2 weeks so we can fit 20+ years until the next game.

so for a prettier schedule.

Same schedule every year:

Monday night: Draft

Tuesday - Friday: Re-sign/Fa signings

Saturday - Friday: Regular Season

Saturday - Sunday: Playoffs

Or if we want an extra day for the playoffs:

Monday night: Draft

Tuesday - Thursday: Re-sign/Fa signings

Friday - Thursday: Regular Season

Friday - Sunday: Playoffs

Obviously we can toy around with the schedule after a couple of years. Like if people think they need more time during the season, we can take time off the off-season. And if people want a day where we take a break, like no simming at all, then we can take a day off the season.
