I'm more trying to establish also at what point it's ok to bury your contract (pre-season?) vs when it's up for grabs. I imagine Dallas/San Jose/Edmonton should have a shot to make it compliant first. Same with any situation where someone is sent down by Best Lines, you should have a chance to prove that your lineup is under cap before just announcing, for example, that Subban is up for grabs cause the CPU sent him down (happened in my other league twice, for no reason).
