Everything is generally normal but this year I will be getting a new truck...

CURRENT: 2011 Infiniti QX56 (purchased in 2010)
X-MAS: 2013 Porsche Cayenne Turbo

Business car tax credits; it's a beautiful thing ;)

Do you own a company or something? Buying cars every 2 years - 3 years like they are going out of style.

Ya, feign effort by picking out boy toys is doable in a pinch.

The Lego Star Wars Y-Wing that we picked out for my nephew will entertain me on Christmas day.

I decided to honour the local culture by giving

8 Comic books
7 packs of smokes
6 packs of 24s
5 golden toques
4 pounds of back bacon
3 french toast
2 turtle necks
and a beer in a tree

Much more practical and no dam birds to clean up after or bloody benefits to pay to all that staff. A heck of a breakfast though!

on the twelfth day, you could've got a DOZEN donuts... You could've gone down, to, like, the good donut shops where you buy a dozen, you get another one free, and then it'd be thirteen for the "Thirteen Days of Christmas"!

Next Christmas, you can get me a chain-saw!

Ha ha ha .. but really .. no maple syrup? .. B)

Almost everything you buy depreciates. So you don't have any car, jewelry, clothing? It doesn't really even matter because the guy won't sell it anyways. Depreciation only really matters when you are selling something.

Give a gift of a well balance portfolio if you worry about depreciation.

Personally I am depreciating myself so my stuff might as well match.

Remember to let the kids have first go.

Actually, screw that, they have lots of presents.

Wife does the shopping for everyone we need to give presents to. I'll get her a Tiffany charm bracelet that she's been eyeing. Crown Royal for my mechanic. PS Vita game for friend since his wife is giving it to him for XMAS (what a nice wife). I'll probably get clothes from my wife.

Think two gift giving themes... retro and re-gifting.

In that spirit I am giving my nephew this spiffy Atari 2600

And I am including all the accessories and games. Impressive eh?

To err is human - but to really screw up you need a computer.

Always listen to experts. They'll tell you what can't be done and why. Then do it.

That is fantastic

I remember the day I got that system for Christmas, and when Pacman came out, since was so big it took my dad and I AGES to track it down. I was head over heals ecstatic when I got a copy for my birthday. Things had to have been tight for the family at that time, but somehow my dad pulled it off.

The memories and support that man gave me I will never forget.

My friends and I each year just pool money together and donate toys for children in need.

For my family, iPhone 5 for my brother, some kind of tablet for the parents to share, and I will be chipping in on a new TV for the parents as well. An electronic Christmas this year I guess.

You should print that photo on a t-shirt. I'll bet they sell out quick, lol.
