Proposed Gun Control Legislation Does Not Violate Second Amendment - Say 52 US Law Profs

Increasing criminalisation and institutionalisation, like calling the cops on kids for gesturing with their fingers or making paper guns, making random babble about guns or play "shooting" someone and such causing a panic, and so on. It makes no sense to you because you are clueless and can't think beyond copy-pasting case law and espousing+copy-pasting leftist outrage.

Pathetic pro gunners stating Matt Damon is pro control and against the second. Nice strawman. He stated he didn't like firearms... in 2003 and that was it. First, his opinion may have changed since then. Second, I've looked for articles where he discusses HIS thought on control and feelings against the second and there's nothing. None, zip, naada. Pro-gun douchebags reaching at the bottom of the barrel it seems.

Hah, I'm pretty sure the first few sentences here speak for itself:

]By golly, Nancy Pelosi was right — they didn’t know what was in ObamaCare until it passed! Of course, in this case all she needed to do was ask her buddy Harry Reid, who apparently sandbagged his party’s gun-control wing by inserting an interesting clause in the 2800-page bill that no one in Congress bothered to read before voting on it. CNN’s Jim Acosta reveals the restriction on firearms-registration data collection built into the 2010 law:

The reason Reid inserted this clause, CNN reports without ever having actually talked to Reid (he declined comment), was to make the NRA “benign” in the ObamaCare fight — and to push back against “conspiracy theorists” who claimed that the bill would allow Barack Obama to start grabbing guns. Hey, that would never happen, right? Sure.

In any case, this isn’t that much of a bar on Congressional action. What can be done in this manner can be undone in the same manner. I’d keep an eye on any thousand-page bill rushed to the floor in this session to see if Reid reverses course.

The media is going to speculate on crap regardless of official comment from the person who inserted the legislation, but I find it pretty funny given so many Democrats voted for Obamacare yet likely never even saw this gun rights piece in Obamacare.

In one video I saw someone said "the NRA put it there".. ROFL.

Last post I barely found out I can only link two videos at once, here's the other video that kept getting pushed out:

This is the Senate Majority Leader who is a Democrat. We second amendment supporters have little to fear with this guy in charge.

You can have my Dollar Off internet coupon when you pry it from my dead cold tasered hand.

Only in 'Murica, eh?

A Florida woman is in jail on charges she threatened Walmart workers with a gun after the store refused her Internet dollar-off coupon.

Mary Frances Alday of Crawfordville, near Tallahassee, was arrested Friday and charged with four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of battery, for allegedly ramming an assistant manager with a shopping cart. She was also charged with resisting arrest and battery of an officer, according to the arrest report.

The Wakulla County Sheriff's news release says Alday is 61 years old, but the arrest report states she was born in June 1961, which would make her 51.

Alday became "extremely upset" that the Crawfordville Walmart would not accept her coupon and continued to "verbally abuse" the assistant manager while being escorted out, the deputy's report says. When the supervisor said she was going to take down Alday's license plate number, Alday replied, "If you follow me, I have something in my car for you."

She then emerged from her 2011 Ford Escape SUV with a holstered handgun that she began waving at four employees, who went back inside "due to being in fear for their lives," the arrest reports says. She then backed out of the parking lot and fled.

A sheriff's detective soon stopped Alday and was joined by a deputy, who asked Alday if she had a gun. "Yes, I have a concealed weapons permit, and you are not taking my gun," the arrest report states.

Alday refused to get out of her vehicle, and the deputy twice stunned her with his Taser after she reached toward the passenger seat and continued to struggle. The deputies then pulled her from the SUV and handcuffed her.

The gun — a loaded Smith & Wesson .38 Airweight — was found in the center console.
